Who believes its possible to 'cast a spell' and 'foretell someones future'?

casting spells...the mind is an amazing corncopia of suprising abilities...depending on what one believes powers a spell, but generally, it's manipulative, and powered by belief...

the best spell, don't cast it, just...tell someone who believes, you've put a spell on them...and watch what happens.

that i really don't believe is possible, the future is always shifting, depending on the choices presented...divination methods are based on interpreting symbols and visions...symbols and visions while most seem to have universal meanings, actually come down to personal interpretation, having studied the arts myself, i know it's more people reading and listening...they'll give you all the information you need...add a bit of dramatic flair, and you're fortune telling.

i do find divination objects are good for helping you decide on a path, i'm not gettnig rid of my tarot cards or runestones...they have helped me, figure things out in difficult situations.

but again, it all comes down to how you interepret the meanings, and apply them to your life...tarot cards are cheaper than a therapist.

I also use my Madame Endora cards.......they are Oracle cards.

As for spells......intent is everything. If you don't believe something will work, then it won't.

I read this book that kinda says what your talking about. That reality is structured and manifested through personal beliefs and expectations. Thats prolly all there is to it.

I don't believe in phsycics, or fortune tellers, the only thing I realy believe in are people I term " feelers" they pick up on your energy, they can tell when you're mad without hearing your voice or seeing your face, things like that.

Mostly I just think there are some people who are more sensitive to things than the rest of us.

such beliefs have been, around since...man painted on cave walls... these beliefs, practices, or whatever people choose to use them as...give people an outlet to express experiences or curiousities they are, trying to give...definition to...an attempt to explain what they do not understand, it can offer them some, comfort that all their struggles in this world, do not go unnoticed, and even some, gain confidence they can change, aspects about their life...being unable to realize they have that strength..inside themselves, and in my opinion...don't need magick for that.

...that's a type of magick, just not as time consuming as other methods people invoke to experience spirituality.

i agree that some of those who practice esoteric arts, can get a little...outrageous in their conveyance of what they can do or expect to do...with magick...and understand why some find it preposterous, but why make an effort to point that out to people who do believe, in a manner that is not conducive to discussion?

They are different in the type of spreads you can do, and they have in one word what they mean vs. the tarot, in which you interpret your own way (i.e., in Madame Endora's cards they have a card with "change" on it, I believe......it's been awhile since I've picked them up, quite honestly.)
