Taurus would make him very home orientated; needing secure roots yet his Moon in Sagittarius contradicts that. The Moon is your inner core, and how you view your home life and your relationship to family. Sagittarius is not really geared towards these aspects in general. Sag is the eternal student, not really liking the idea of putting down roots. They can be erratic and frivolous but also very serious about learning subjects such as religion and philosophy!
With the Sun-Moon influence it could mean that he's very staunch when it comes to religion.
