Something is building up
Something big is going to happen
Can anyone else feel it and what do you think it's going to be?
Is the rise in mysticisim and the power of those mystics is a clear indication that something is up or is it just that people are braver and are coming out of the closet more?

Things are definately changing...and I know a lot feel that way...we are moving into a new phase, so to speak, but how, and what...I don't know. For me it's basically a gut feeling of something coming up, the way a child feels the night before christmas...and a feeling of gathering...searching...people are coming together, revealing their true selves and finding each other... You promised me the ending would be clear
You'd let me know when the time was now
Don't let me know when you're opening the door
Stab me in the dark, let me disappear

Yes I agree! strange things are afoot....my greatest arguement for such a...change, well there's two really, the first is the "ancient words" of many of my favorite cultures, that when the end of times are near, the old god will awaken, the vikings have the great horn to be blown, the brittians have excaliber rising again...even a native american prophet(said to have predicted the coming of white man)predicted an end that would be a beginning... I've read alot of infromation on such a rebirth...and I don't put much faith in Nostradamus's predictions To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. WORLD WAR MOTHERFUCKIN' III!!!
And EVERYONE is going to be on it! The world will destroy itself, and then re-build itself... It'll be like Star Trek!! I can't fuckin' wait... I've wanted to get me a Vulcan female for years. Anyone seen that one from "Enterprise"? HOT DAMN! Aphrodite blessed her! Anyways... Yes, there is a tension building... And I truly do think it's going to lead to WW3, or some other climatic, historical event that throws all the other ones out of the history books.
Shit time to go to work...

well look at how nature is behaving? It's not man that's going to destroy the current way of existence, it's mother nature herself...the rest of my opinion gets a little cold and extremist sounding...so I'll just leave it at this... Like I said earlier (in another thread) The balance is messed up and it's about time it started to right itself but I'm a little worried about the possible backlash.
Nature becoming self destructive is a sign that things may have gone as far as they can in one direction, it's time for the pendulum to swing back.

Years ago I saw a map that was predicting how the earth would look when everything...changed...there are certain points of the world(power places) that will survive, and those who are aware of the forces, will sense them and gather there...like Clear said now, it's a time for meeting those souls...see ya there? THere's plenty enough cold extremism here anyway, no harm in more - so long as it doesn't directly offend any individuals...
I think you're all thinking rather romanticly (yes, in this situation, I think that's "A Bad Thing"), "gathering of souls" and what have you. I think the only reason people think they are seeing some great change and spiritual uprising is that the current Western Fad is "spiritualism". Just as Imperialism and Communism, it will die sooner or later - leaving it's dregs behind of course - as these two have done - in an equally inultimate way as the consolidation of the British Empire and the "end" of the Cold War. Surface-changes are certainly happening, but real evolution runs at a much slower pace. Ah the Chandler effect
The seas will tip out of their bowls, the sun rising in the west, no stone will be left in it's place...etc.
Evidence has been found in rock formations that the earth has "slipped" on it's axis a number of times, more than likely caused by the gravational pull of the planets aligning and an aditional outside force of sufficient magnitude.
The resulting effect wil be the seas will tip out of their bowls, the sun rising in the west, no stone will be left in it's place...etc.

I'm not talking evolution here, hunnie...but people's perceptoion of the world seems to change...and more and more are 'awake'. It seems, the past few years, everyone I've met in real life, and most of those I've met online, are awake...sensitive...aware...,.I don't know what word you would use. I use awake. You promised me the ending would be clear

Thus, evolution. Don't argue. :p Quote: but people's perceptoion of the world seems to change...and more and more are 'awake'. The current fad is for "spiritualist" and "New Age" "earth based religions" and the like - but remember the Rome? Early Christendom? The Rennaissance? All of these were times when people "awakened" (seemingly) - the "Age Of Aquarius" (curse the term) is no different. We're just seeing things in a different light.

It is not some massive "End Times, coming together of souls," Tolkienesque storybook thing. There is a slightly new outlook, but the "drive" of the movement will wear off, as for the reniassance, and nothing will really have changed overly much. Just another stage in the social evolution of the human race.

I don't doubt that this one is too, just not the "End Times"...
