As far as I know, the Raelian Movement is the only religion that demystifies everything around us. Everything has a rational explanation. For those who never heard of the Raelian Movement here's a brief explanation: All life was created by scientists from another planet, including us. The universe in infinite in time and space. Rael, the last prophet, was given the responsibility by the Elohim (term used by Raelians for those scientists from another planet) to spread the final message to all humanity. You said all life was created by these scientists from another planet. So where did they come from?

There is no starting point. If we don't destroy ourselves, we too will create life on other planets. Proud member of To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Sounds like a bit of a circular argument to me. So what you're saying is that there is no starting point, that life never actually began, that it's perpetual? Seems to me that logic dictates that it had to begin somewhere. How does this fit in line with natural selection and evolution? Creation of life is an infinite progression. So is the universe itself. Hope that answers your question. Proud member of To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Junk science???? I am sorry but you killed any room for discussion the instant you referred to them as such.

And Woden came down from the heavens with his son, Thor, and they became one with the atoms made of spaceships made by the scientists who created people into infinity and beyond! To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Wait a minute...Raelians. Wasn't there a news blurb a few years ago about a scientist who announced he'd successfully cloned a human being, yet when brought under scrutiny he could not produce the child, nor release any of his research. If I recall correctly, that guy was linked with the Raelian movement.
I'll have to see if I can dredge up that article... Shadowborn To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Okay, so here's the original story.
Interestingly enough, there were announcements made that proof would be offered up within a week of the child's birth, but after much searching I can find no articles dated past 28 Dec 2002 that either confirm or deny the claim. After that, the whole thing just seems to taper off, as no actual solid evidence is given by Clonaid. Shadowborn To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. i knew a guy in high school that claimed heaven and hell were really dueling spaceships...and we were their experiments...
i guess it's more interesting than the traditional heaven and hell concept...but i'm not really the sci fi type. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

It's funny how some people take an interesting concept like this and turn it into a mystical, psuedo-religious experience. A lot of the people who try to explain everything unusual with Alien intervention remind of peasants shouting out "It's the Devil! It's the Devil!" Whenever they encounter something that they cannot explain. I think that the idea has some merit but that it's over-applied and sensationalized in an irrational way in that regard.

Irrational is todays word by the way. | i don't know if irrational is the exact term, i've heard this theory before the realins were trying to clone the perfect human...chariots of the gods and the other book by the same author made some interesting arguements for alien influence on our culture, but i don't think they had anything to do with the creation of life, i'm with evolution on that one...but i can see a higher intelligence offering primitive man some pushes in the right direction...*shrugs* who knows? Science is rational conclusion based on observable phenomenon. Religion is faith-based belief. Why turn science into religion? It isn't there to provide answers to "why." Shadowborn To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

The Raelians have always struck me as odd. The whole casual disregard of the established theory, which in science is something to be disproved, rather the proven. Raelians can't account for fossil records, the emergence and dissapearence of dinosaurs, the Chimpanzee DNA similarty theory, the pre-man theory. The homeostatic planet principle or a whole host of other logically deduced theories.
