Dreams dreamers drink....

I like dreams. I love my dreams. They recur in various forms frequently. I love my dreams just so very much. Even the scary or phenominally bizarre ones. I have a small dream world of my own. It scares me and terrifyingly enough I get panic attacks whenever I think of the things I've encountered in that small wooden, snow-covered cabin. Terrifying things. Things that are inconspicuously threatenning. Chill white, my color drains. My heart stops. My muscles tense. I want to scream but have no breath to do it with. Even in wakefulness, it is a horrible place. I can barely type this as I think of it.

Some of my dreams make my sheets sticky. I liket hose dreams, they are all pruple and red and orange. Squishy mostly and very quiet for soem reason. But sweet in their own simple way. My muscles relax, my lungs almost burst. I blush and smile sheepishly for no readily apparent reason.

It seems to me that imagination, insantiy, dreams, spirits and other such wonders ahve the same bizarre source, whatever it may be.

well, i haven't had a dream at night for ages.
but i do dream alot at daytime, in fact, i live in my own world.
i've become so isolated whenever i walk on the street i think people look at me as a freak or psycho, which is cool by me

I make a point of establishign my weirdnitude in all relationships. That way, they can love me or leave me, and the second is just fine by me.

But nathan, ya got any scary places?

Heh...I used to have one of those dreams in which you always have a huge, slobbering monster after you...I would always run from it, around places I knew; school, home, the city, everywhere...and people all around just staring at it and not being able to do anything...
It seemed to recur every night.

Then, about three months ago, in my dream, I stopped and turned around to "Face my fears" as psycologists would say.
The monster promptly ran me over, crushing my body horribly (yum , no?).

I haven't had a single dream since.



Strange, no?

Well, I have a character that often stars in many of my dreams. He's best described as a rough cross between Loki and Hermes. He doesn't have any name, or any name that I can remember. But a couple of nights ago he was on the outside of horse race track that was int he middle of a forest. He wanted to ride the innermost horse but had to cross the four other horses to get there and got trampeld nine or ten times before he got there. And when he did, he couldn't hold on and simply fell off to get trampled a few more times.


Whoa.

i just have the usual dream that most people(cept you of course ) are fucked up, and shallow, with their insufferable pop culture references, infesting the planet like a fucking cancer.
this is a world where everyone sees britney spears as a godess and mtv is the ultimate tv chan.
not only that, it's making me more cynical, for example, the mother of a friend of mine died of breast cancer several months ago. and he was crying for days, it may sound strange but i never gave it another thought, i felt pissed at everyone for being so stupid and tell so many lies and generally acting like fucking idiots.
sometimes i feel like i'm the only normal person around.

Sometimes I feel like I want to kill all the normal people or atleast give them a large amount of lsd.

I dreamt that I was committed(asylum) and then they took me to this huge gas chamber. They put me in a locked it up. Started pumping in the gas. There was a large group of onlookers outside, I was choking, couldn't breathe, slowly dying. I woke up and gasped, my hands and face were going blue coz I had actually been holding my breathe. I finally got back to sleep. I was back in the chamber, cept this time I got mine and got out and killed the onlooking crowd rather violently(sp?)

hmmmmm...where to start...I was in the woods, and it was a beautiful lake, I've been there before, but i don't know where...it was my friends and I, suddenly they were gone and I was being chased...I ran into this cabin on a dock and locked the door, it was one of those chain locks and the thing chasing me and wanting to kill me was trying to get in, I was on the phone trying to call for help...the operator kept telling me I had to dial again, and I was yelling at her that a guy was trying to kill me, and she just kept telling me that it was not her problem and that I would have to dial again...I kept screaming and begging her to help me, and the damn operator would not connect me...so I told her to f*ck off and began to hit the killer with the phone...I woke up crying...next time I'll tell you about the zombies

Any theories abotu dreasm out there.

My pet theory abotu dreams is that they don't happen in events, but in realms. There are realms that only you have, some that you and a few other people have, some that many people have and many that everybody has. Some realms even exist which can only be found through meditation, lucid dreaming, amazing luck or by accident that have been pulled far away from humanity. Each realm would have a theme (emotion, idea expressed, important character), so to speak, and other things like particular events or such.

psychologically your dreams are just your subconscience working things out...for an example: you dream of being bitten by a snake...now that snake could symbolilze, sex, satan or that earlier while you were out gardening you subconsciencley noticed a snake out of the corner of your eye, while consciencly you were not even aware...
dream symbols vary from person to person and the key to lucid dreaming is a dream friend...when ever you are having a dream you'd like to consciencly control...you look for your dreamfriend, and upon seeing it...your conscience mind takes over...it is a lot to dream lucidly, and most often I wake myself up, so I then never know if the dream I'm controlling is my subconconscience or my conscience thoughts...

I can't remeber having any flying dreams...mine always deal with monsters or something like that...not necessarily nightmares, but they keep my sleep interesting...

I think that all imaginative thoughts and inspirations and innovations have the same source. So when you imagine somethign to your dream, it isn't exactly the same, but it's pretty close.

My one scary as hell dream is so terrifying, i block out memories I have from it all together.

I was walking through a field full of those Monoliths from "2001: A Space Odessey"... well, I believe that is what they where...it looked like them, anyways...

They were all lined up like this... where the horizontal dashes are... I and was walking through the middle of them, as the arrow shows...

And I was holding a rod... About as long as my forearm, and thick as my thumb, and it was made out of... Well, it looked like glass, out in front of me, and it was pulsating light. The further I walked through the forest of monoliths... The brighter and faster the pulsating light would become.

I woke up when something ran up behind me and knocked me face forward.

It was strange... o.0

Heh...falling dreams are funny.
I was once at a friend's house, staying the night...and my one friend fell asleep on the couch while we were watching movies. About half an hour later; he suddenly spasms, and BOUNCES off the couch, onto the floor!


It turned out that he had a falling dream, and when he hit the ground, woke up and spasmed simultaneously! Like he had fallen from a height and hit the couch...!
Well, I found it funny!

like all things strangeness is a matter of opinion...to some you are strange, to others completely normal...
