I know this originally started up on Friday, but this was the first thing I saw on the morning paper earlier and, frankly, I feel annoyed because this is not a place in time to be making inflammatory statements like this. Granted, I will give him props for speaking his mind, although I feel he was out of line. I wouldn't subscribe to either religion anyway, but I feel that he acted irresponsibly, most likely on the idea that the possibility exists that the Nation of Islam probably wouldn't go take it out on Vatican City but would go elsewhere with their frustrations.

I guess one of my points was that I feel like the US as a whole could suffer repercussions from this rather than the Catholic Church specifically or the Pope or Vatican City itself. I don't like to think that the Pope is speaking for all non-Muslim people and that in the eyes of Islam I could be getting lumped together with everyone else that would fall under that blanket, especially since I let go of Catholicism before I really even got started in it (my family changed churches as a kid).

Sorry but I'm in agreement here. I'm sick of opening the papers or seeing TV how fucking Muslims feel that their rights are being violated and that they need more freedom to do as they please in a country that most of them came into fucking illegally AND apprently HATE.
