The question was "where do you find all these funny religions?" right? It's not all that hard, what with new fangled communications technology. If you're willing to look further than Buffy-style quasi-occultist Wicca, then there are some interesting things. Of course, most of it's useless babble, but I sincerely urge you to read a) the books of Thelema, namely Liber AL vel Legis (Aleister Crowley) and b) the essays on Setianism at xeper.org (ion actual fact,. they've updated their site since I last went there... I'm just going to have a look round the new improved version now, to make sure all the relevant stuff's still there).
Anyway, you really shouldn't call them funny. After all, some people might think prancing around a candle reciting cliched poetry to a 2500 years dead idol is amusing. :p | |
