On a more serious note, however, have you considered what the occult is really about? The key is in the etymology of the word "occult". Even a denotative meaning of the word "occult" will give you the answer.

I don't think that the original post was childish, per se. Moreso, I saw an erroneous conceptualisation of what the occult means to mature minded people.
