personally i enjoyed travelling the el, the things i saw heading into downtown chicago were amazing, especially some of the people! There was one guy who was always trying to sell cassettes out of his jacket.

What's the difference? You get the same people on both. Well you do here anyway, the train station ends and begins at the Bus depot.

it would depend on how many buses you have to take to get downtown...

first i'd get on the bus in the suburbs, these were nice little buses that had more elderly people than anyone else, they'd drop you off at the subway station(or metro if you had a couple of bucks more)then you'd take the subway downtown...at that point you had a choice of taking a city bus(great way to experience the culture of a city)to get front door service to anywhere you wanted to go, or change trains to go to a more generalized stop, and walk the blocks...rubbing shoulders with the culture.

In the states there is a stigma attached to riding the bus, more than likely due to the storied history we have with the railroad. Anyway usally the poorer people are riding the buses here

Your theory does not in any way support there not being a supreme being. Considering an infinite of possibilities, it is ABSOLUTELY possible that, if there is a god, that he/she/it is vindictive, severe, or just a sadist. Or, maybe not. See, the christian bible rationalizes it that god HAS to put up with suffering - to remove suffering and pain, he would have to take away our free will, which would pretty much negate the whole point of his experiment.

My sincerest apologies, I don't mean to personally attack you, but that is an incredibly small minded and shallow statement. How old are we? Goth is a group of people who choose to dress a certain way, act a certain way, listen to a certain style of music, in order to find acceptance and feel cool among their fellow "non-conformists" by acting the same way they do. It's just another social clique. Be yourself. Don't label yourself. If you like wearing make-up, dressing in black, listening to the cure, right on! Nothing wrong with that.
