The first large chapter in the Quran boldly states:

" Those who believe, and the Jewish and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.(2:62)"

Now a person who believes in a Good Higher Power... does good is accepted by Islam as some one who will not go to hell.. now wtf do the taliban ignore the quran.. wthell do the morons in pakistan and palestine insist on fighting?

Their excuse is .. "Well the christians today.. are not really christians" and "Westerners do not believe and do good"

Another reason is that they are assholes!!

[Quran 60:8]"GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable."

Another thing is that people like Osama bin Laden translate that as "does enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion" see how one word can change the meaning??

Now if the basic rules of religion of Islam want you to befriend people who dont discriminate because of religion then WHYYY are the so called "MUSLIMS" discriminating against all religions..

I know why.. because every one thinks that they are the CHOSEN people.. just the the Jewish and Christians.. If Palestinians and Israelis are the chosen people then why are they living in the middle of a desert???

If a majority of people believe something then the belief becomes a fact however it does not become the Truth.

The fact is that the Muslims are bastard morons who are brain dead farts.

The Truth is that they are not people who "work righteousness".

The Truth is that they "fight you because of religion" and well.. they have evicted thousands of people from their homes on Sept 11th.

watch what you are saying! if for one did nothing to anyone. i don't believe in god. i see life has no existence and i was taught to be a muslim. of course i know this religion sucks i have to live it everyday of my life. not all muslims are morons. i think the people have been brainwashed. how can you actually believe everything the quran says? its contradicts itself like any other religious book. plus the tradition values suck. the terrorists attack was a different issue entirely. the talibans are just using the quran as an excuse for their action. well that's the way i see it. damn you osama bin laden you doodiehead.

I am saying that the millions of muslims do not themselves believe in what the Quran says. They do not follow what the Holy Book they are claiming be the outline of their lives.

Deshevil. Sorry to hear that. I might know what u are talking about. I lived in Pakistan for over 16 years under the rule of a Taliban biological father who along with his friends brutalized my family infront of my own eyes in the name of religion. I used to hate myself for being helpless and unable to help my family. I was confused as hell... the feelings of hate towards a father and the hatred of his actions which were taught to me as being good and as a religion..

Well.. 3 years ago we all escaped from Pakistan.. moved to the USA... in those 3 years that man came after us.. and here we had the upper hand ...

I hated all religions... and then to further torture my self I went to some islamic website... it did not have much that I agree with but I found out that all that stuff going on in my house was just that.. an asshole beating his family up who sold to him cuz no religion allows that in its true meaning.

religion is a sad excuse to bring people together. plus the language barrier which causes an even bigger problem. well i'm sorry for your pain, suffering, and misery.

I have always thought, if you want to be a nice person, Don't bring religion into it, Religion makes barriers, and will eventually turn into people screaming "I am Right, You are wrong!", then it is just an excuse to fight and be prejudiced.

The Christains, the Jews, The Muslims, All religions have fought Holy Wars, and it has never sloved anything, but made the "Heathens" more hated.

And how many Muslims were killed or evicted from their homes when the US, France and Britan decided to set up the state of Israel?

Take a look at the bigger picture.

This may surprise some people but there were actually religous fundamentalist terrorist attacks before September the 11th.

I dont think there is a bad reason to bring people together just a lots of bad reasons to turn them against each other.

Most all religions, creeds and dogmas are pretty damn good in theory and on paper. But the people that practice them, which is pretty much everyone, just suck.

And another thing, just for note, Eric Erikson noticed a trend which I have found to be true in many of my friends. The theoretic trend regards atheism and it basically says that the first generation that is atheist from a family with a religious background still has the same values and virtues, just not the same beliefs. But the secodn generation lacks both the beliefs and the values of that religion.


Just something to think about and reflect inwardly upon.

There is nothing wrong with muslims and islam as a whole. I lived in Saudi Arabia for 6 years and I think they are better as a people than the whites are. Most of them are a hell of a lot nicer. Yeah so, a lot of them do not believe. How many christians do you know that believe and follow what they preach. I can name none. The Taliban is a cult, not a religion. They try to hide behind the quran but so did the religious leaders during the inquisition and the witch trials, and also religious persecution such as the crusades. Everybody needs something to try and base their power on, even if it is a false religion and false power. The taliban are infidels!!!!!!!!!

If you believe in something, then it is a possibility, when several people believe in the something, it turns to a god/ess, as more and more people believe, they establish "laws and ways" by their values, and then it is an established religion...it doesn't matter what that religion it is...one bad apple ruins the barrel...
...some just have bigger barrels.
