Have you ever noticed that most religions have a "harm none" rule... in different words, but the same meaning?

That's where the conflict lies..the egocentrical belief that yours is the only true one. As if it only means that u can't harm those of the same religion. So every heathen can be tortured/killed/ whatever punishment..

My guess would be a no-harm rule would be the best way to calm down our agressive nature...

It makes me wonder, why the religions don't get along, when thebelief structure: good vs. evil is the same..

Very simple:
"You do not believe in my God. Therefor you are a heathen, an "untermench" and I have the right to kill you in His name".

Statements as these are found troughout times, when religion is manipulated to incite wars and the such. Religion is a fine concept, but I think a little too dangerous for mankind.

And once a war is started, fanatics make sure it never ends. I think religious fanatics are about the worst people on this planet... Any thoughts on that? Are they still human even? For they refuse to think for themselves it seems. Selfconciousness is a part of homo sapiens they lack.

those who need to gain power over another will use any method they have for control...religion just happens to be the easiest because so many people need to believe in something...to encourage pacifism is a good way to ensure they will not rise up against "their superior" for fear of angering "their god" and then when there are certain people who are not under the "superior's" control and pose a threat to their practices and possibly contradict what they have said, then those in power will use "the god" to encourage their followers to rise up and destroy the threat to their way of belief...therefor justifing both the do not harm rule and then turning it around to "protect" their belief...
