Does anyone know anything about Judgment Day from the Bible... Revelations...

I'm trying to compare a poem to the event, but I don't know much about it, so I was hoping some of you would know more about it than me.. thanks in advance

MOstly it talks about What the angels will be doing, see it turns out that Armagedeon wont happen in one huge gigantic burst of Divine vengance, but as a series of events that will kill people off in stages.
I do know that it is one of the worsts books in the bible, to try and read. I just get irritated every time.

I believe that as far as Prophecy is concerned, we are up to chapter 20:3 and onwards. Satan being loosed about a hundred years ago. Satan being a helping hand in the most progressive, war-stricken, religious-fueding, technological, scientific century.

Of course, that's just how i see it. Whether I'm right or not makes no difference

The seven seals are opened, each time a seal is broken things appear -one is the pale horse of death and another is of souls who died in the name of christ and they cry out for the judgement day, another the moon is blood. God brands on the forehead those that are his servants -no more pain, brings them to heaven. Then the angels sound trumphets one at a time, and man is being wiped out by plagues of all sorts each time.. John eats a book and it tastes sweet like honey, nature attacks again, and then it is about the sign in heaven of the woman who is about to give birth. A red, seven headed dragon appears waiting to devour her child so the angels attack it and the woman. The dragon/satan is thrown to earth and instead tries to devour the woman. But she is given angel's wings to escape, a river of water pours out of the dragon's mouth, another beast appears from the ocean to worship the dragon -they conquer the sinners on earth..

13:16 He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands, or on their foreheads;

13:17 and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name.

13:18 Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty-six.

Then the sinners are tormented by angels and demons come out of satan's mouth.

17:6 I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.

You skip a lot of chit-chat about the effects of plagues and then,

22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.

about the number of the beast...how many people are identified as numbers currently, especially with the welfare reform...everything is a number these days...

Revelations 20
"11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

book of life = karma as recorded within each spirit. hence judged "according to their works" = judged according their own actions in the context of their own path / SpiritPurpose. specifically as regards to what extent, and how, they fulfilled that SpiritPurpose (their given task in the creation, as it were).


"13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works."

on feb 18th/19th 2013, the entirety of the creation is going to be absorbed back into the centrepoint of the source whence it originally came. this process of the reabsorption of the lower planes into the higher ones (and their subsequent reprojection afresh from there) is cyclical and occurs on a regular, definable basis. normally the reabsorption is of the three planes below the void into the top of the causal plane (yuga) or into sach kand, the first plane above the great void (mahayuga). check out the hindu scriptures for more on this one.

the rebsorption coming up on 18th / 19th february 2013 though is going to be to the very centrepoint of the source itself, with the entirety of the creation being subsequently reprojected afresh from there. on the basis of a new set of rules i might add.

the above quote now becomes fairly easily understandable then. as the entirety of the creation is so reabsorbed into the centrepoint of the source, ALL, planes will be so reabsorbed along with all denizens of said planes. as such, even "death and hell" shall "deliver up their dead". and again, each shall be judged "according to their works", ie according to what each has done and not done, in the context of their specific path in life.

"14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

the "lake of fire" is a metaphorical description of how the anihilation of that which shall be anihilated in 2013 will be so anihilated (basically all the contents of all the planes will be reabsorbed upwards through the levels of the creation and in so doing those parts of it whose spirit is of insufficient power and brightness will be burnt and disolved by the high-energy enviroment into which they are passing. it's not like they'll all be administratively sorted and classified beforehand or anything. rather it's that the mechanics of the process itself will anihilate those whose inner nature is not capable of withstanding it.
you see, as you develop esoterically and so begin to embody your spirit and spirit purpose more and more, your soul and spirit are refined, powered-up and strengthened. and each higher level of the reality is a higher-energy enviroment than each lower level. to survive at a higher level your vibration has to be one with it, or you'll get burnt by it. a bit like the tibetan approach to firewalking in fact.
so to survive the reabsorption to the centrepoint of the source, essentially you need to have mastered, understood and embodied your own spirit purpose (leading to the power of your soul and physical body infusing, and so strenthening, your spirit. on the basis of which strength your spirit can refine and power-up further). and also you need to have mastered and embodied all the great lessons of life as they pertain to the three planes above the great void, and the source itself. these are:

Sach Kand
Sach Kand is the first full plane above the great void. Its nature is pure love.

Alakh Lok
Alakh Lok is the next full plane above Sach Kand. It is a higher aspect of god. Its nature is best summed up as effectiveness. It is a combination of courage, determination and effective action/motion.

Agam Lok
Agam Lok is the next full plane above Alakh Lok. It is a still higher aspect of god. Its nature is best summed up as freedom. It is a combination of power and detachment.

The Source
The Source is the beginning and end of all things, the origin from which the entirety of creation sprang and unto which the entirety of creation will eventually return. Its nature is best summed up as justice (though this nature is fairly incomprehensible to most). It is a combination of pure light and pure dark (in equal proportions) around a point of pure stillness/nothingness.

so that's what you have to understand, master and embody for your spirit's vibration to be high and pure enough to survive the energies of "judgement day".

to return brieflly to revelations:

"15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

not all beings in the creation have a spirit, and so not all are "written in the book of life". most elementals would fall into this category, as did all angels and demons before i took a hand in proceedings on that front. but it is not enough to merely have a spirit - you must also recognize it, learn and know your spirit purpose, master it and embody it. thereby causing your spirit to be infused with the strength, and the remaining qualities, of your soul and conscious ego personality. because you ain't taking your physical body with you on this trip. and if your soul and conscious ego personality aren't infused as a a part of your spirit, then they'll exist only on the physical, astral and causal, and as a consequence won't survive the reabsorption and reprojection process.

so now you know what judgement day is and how it will work. and know you know when it is. and now you know how to continue your existence beyond it.

That was a good theory about the happenings of judgement day.. stress on the word theory, because I don't think it was right of you to say,

Yes, the book of revelations was actually a series of letters from John the Baptist after he was exiled to an island off the coast of isreal.

It was a code to warn the followers of Christ as to what his spies bought back and told him.

WOW thanks Oazaki. see with out all that reading ..Self sees Heaven as a return to our true GODLIKE state where we will beable to once again shape realitys and harness the energys of GOD/The universe and simply put everythuing will fall into two catagories we are all energy so you will have those who have learened and are able to weild energy and there are the ones who dont know or are unable to weild thus they shall be used by the ones who can as since energy cant be destroyed just reshaped .

Scary shit from someone ' who so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son'.

it's like the parent who tell's their kids "this is gonna hurt me a lot more then it does you". The tough love syndrome.

His intent is to shake you up and to make you realize you need him. And to let you know what can happen if you ignore him or don't follow what your told.

At least that is how I look at it.

Tough love is an oxymoron in my books.

but sometimes the only way to work your way up is when you've hit ablsoute bottom....when there is no one around to help you and you have to do it yourself.

If you can't get someone to do it for you anymore, then you have to do it yourself....the basic premise behind tough love.

I thought that was the premise of self reliance and self responsibility.
