i love alden...the only thing i saw that was concerning was the lady and the cut out bush doll..not because she was having them pray for bush, but she's encouraging the use of idols.
i myself go to an evangical church, it's a tiny, new church with wonderful people around my age and a lot of happy, smiling children running around...what i like about them versus other, denominations is they don't care how you worship Gd, just that you accept Him and His Son absolutely, and they do encourage prayer, but if you love someone, you do talk to them.
i would never send my daughters to a place like that, i would not trust people i did not know to teach my daughter things i'm just now finding out for myself, there's too much blasphemy, anger and hatred justified by people who think they are Gdly, and using stories inspired and formed by early jews and their personal relationship with Him, as spiritual law.
but that's why i'm getting involved with starting a childrens church in our church...there are some concept no matter how bright the child is they can't comprehend, yet.
the problem with a lot of people that i find make christianity a negative thing, aren't in tune with Gd, they try to judge man based on their expecations, who has any right to judge us, but our Maker?
and i do agree people should come to it in their own way, even the bible speaks of that and states to not change those Gd calls back, He called them as they were.
christianity isn't all bad...it's not like you have a bunch of fluffy bunnies running around acting like high and mighty wizards because the bought a few books and burn some candles preaching the three fold law like some crazed halleywell sister, while asking questions on how to summon spirits, with no practical knowledge of defense.
i'll take Gd any day...oh, wait, i did.
