A few years ago I stumbled on a little package deal (If anyone has ever heard of the gifts of rule, that's the package and no I can't tell you how to get them) but one of the problems I had was I became really pre-cognitive, I knew what people were goung to do and say and what was going to happen next all the time (only in my direct area) I nearly ended up going insane, it was like living in aperpetual echo, so with the help of some unwitting christians (who I am not slagging off, I have the ultimate respect for christians, if only they knew the untapped power that comes from absolute faith) I placed a binding on myself to stop this particular gift flaring up all the time.

Here's the question..

I'm ready to take on my twelfth gift now but before doing so I need Prophecy back, anyone know a way of lifting a binding without the help of the original casters?
Also this way has to be a way I can do it on myself without backfire.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Well, I guess the first thing you need to know is how the binding was cast.

Usually some object associated with the individual is involved. When someone I know cast a binding on a guy she didn't want to contact her anymore she used a scarf he had given her, which ended up burried in her backyard (among other things).

I assume you know the person (people) who cast the binding originally? Were you present? How was it done? If something similar was done to the above, perhaps just digging up the object, or whatever, may work.

As for "without it backfiring" ... don't expect there to be no backfire no matter how you do it. You've blocked this thing off for so long, you have to expect some backlash. If nothing else, your mind is going to have to become used to it again :)

The problem is that I cast the binding using them to channel it out of me and then back in, I only know two of the people involved and have no way of tracking the others down (The fact that they didn't know what they were doing and wouldn't have done it if they knew means I can't ask them for help anyway, it's against their religion to even believe that such a thing is possible)

Ok but before I start, you have to understand that I'm sort of restricted in what I can say here.
I convinced them I was being tormented (their word, seemed pretty apt at the time) and that something foreign was giving me unpleasant visions (again, pretty close to the bone) they then all prayed that it would stop, now, there's a little more to it than that, these people had the strongest group faith I had felt at the time and they truly believed that if they prayed that I be released from this scourging that it would happen.
It only took a little work on my part to change what they were doing (after all they were pretty close anyway)
All bindings are based on belief that they work, to break a binding normally you just do something that you believe will break it, destruction of talisman etc., the problem I have is that all these people truly believe that they helped me.
In theory, if I could track them all down I could convince them they failed but even if I could track them all down, I'm not allowed to influence anothers faith, to do so would mean losing another gift, I'd be down to nine (and they ain't easy to get )

BTW just in case anyone is avoiding helping me because they think I'm trying something malevolent, the gifts of rule cannot be attained by anyone who would intentionally ans specifically use them.

Well, since you obviously did this yourself, you can undo it yourself. Whether or not you used someone else's power (faith) is immaterial. You did it, you can undo it.

If your belief in what you do is strong enough, you shouldn't have a problem. If it isn't, then do you really deserve this gift back?

Maybe I don't deserve it, I asked for it too young, my will was strong enough but my emotions weren't.
I can't believe that someone elses faith is wrong, the fact that they believe it makes it true(this could get confusing because I'm trying not to say too much)
Right to narrow it down, basically I believe the binding is there and I believe that anything I've come up with so far won't work for the simple reason that I knew about it before the binding was cast and the binding wouldn't have worked if I didn't believe it was real

Am I making any sense?

Anything I come up with myself won't work because I believe it won't.
I need someone to give me a way that I believe will.

okay, i think i read you a little better now, and i'm sure you realize i wouldn't want you to compromise any sensitive information.

this is a tricky spot. the crux seems to be that the mind is infinitely malleable.
we've seen faith healers slap old women to the floor and thus "heal" them, and i'm sure it works as a treatment on any hysterical disease, any pathology, or psychosoma. whether it works on regrowing lost limbs is matter for another thread. the principle is sound, and freud validated it many times. whenever jesus healed in the bible using this trick, people would thank him, and he would scold them with the reminder that their own faith had healed them. even the woman who ran up to him to touch his robe, and drew power from him, which he felt slip away:
she was using him as a focus for her faith, just as you used these christians. as you said, nothing works without belief, and yours was amplified by the prayer group.
just as any mind can be broken down and reworked, no matter how firmly it holds its beliefs, if it is acted on by persistent pressures long enough, if you keep these people out of sight, and out of mind, and meditate on and around icons and foci forming a gate to where you want to go, you should undo the damage that's been done.
keep in mind that the universe unfolds as it should. the transformation is waiting to happen, and you should know that, both to ease it along, and to convince yourself to let it.
let it happen, relax, and turn yourself over to it.
destiny is just turning over cards already printed, and,remember, you have already started down the path.

I've been trying the "relax and let it happen" thing for about a year now but maybe the problem is that I've been consciously doing so, I'll try your suggestion and try to block the people and the event out, to believe that it never actually happened.

It shouldn't take me long to convince myself, me being stupid and gullable and all

I am a spiritualist, i see spirits and can even talk to them if they want to talk to me. It sounds to me that you have just put a block up on yourself. I block myself when I am out in public because there is such a rush of spirits wanting to talk.These people had nothing to do with it. What you talk about sounds like an exorcism to me. It is simply the power of suggestion by which they helped. You just have to focus yourself an take the block down that you have set up

What are gifts?, packages? what is going on? if anyone could explain that would be very helpful

In this case they're sort of abilities, basically improvements of yourself that allo you to interact better and control better the world around you. They have to be attained in sequence because you need to use some of the ones you have to get the next one.
