Do I have reason to?

Ok here's a couple of what I hope to be unconnented facts..

Since around Christmas last year (the millenium) people have been going missing here, just vanishing on their way home from nightclubs, the city is crawling with traffic cameras but they haven't picked up a thing, you see the people walking out of sight of one camera and where they should walk into view of the next one they don't, it isn't quite clear how many have vanished because homeless people are going too. No bodies. no witnesses, no trace..

Fact number two (kind of vague this one but bear with me)

There is definitely "something in the air", I find it a lot easier to use magic, something I've always found difficult, I'm a mystic rather than a magicer. Sumthin is a brewin, if you get my meaning.

Number three

I live in a converted Gothic church (appartment block) and as you know, gothic churches have steeples and steeples, like pyramids and obelisks, change and focus magic, it's also extremly difficult for magic to get through them.
Last night something attacked me in my bed, it went straight for my head (as opposed for the heart) it was like someone stuck the nozzle of a can of spray cream in my ear and pushed the button. Spiritually, I do not look like an easy target, I have constant wards (more for practice than from any fear of attack) and I've been practicing spirit combat for years, friends of mine who can read auras tell me that this is really obvious as my Aura is pure blue with a black outline (not big on auras, don't know what that means) My defences snapped up pretty quick but I didn't have time to strike back, I was more concerned that it might attack my girlfriend but it didn't, the room had become quite cold but apparently the duvet prevented her from noticing

Now, there's two explainations for this one as far as I can think of, one is that someone either really clued in or really stupid was using a ouija board under a church steeple or there is something strong enough out there to break in and go for the difficult target rather than the unconscious and defenceless one.

I really hope these facts are unconnected and that something big isn't brewing..Am I just being paranoid?
HAs anyone else felt anything brewing?
Can anyone tell me what blood magic feels like?

Any opinions or light anyone can shed on this are very welcome, and please tell me I'm paranoid.

I don't know about the people vanishing, I haven't heard about that one, and I'm no expert on psychic attacks. But I have felt something brewing for years now. I feel like 'we' (not sure who 'we' are) are gathering for some reason, preparing for something. It's all very vague, just a lingering feeling.

I shut myself down a few years ago, closed my mind to any occult input, so to speak, of personal reasons. But this spring I was slammed awake again, I'll most likely put that story on my supernatural thread eventuall. I found I am stronger, more controlled this time, and much more in a battle-mode. It seems more urgent now, somehow.

This was just ranting, I can't really seem to put words on it. If you have any questions, hit me. It usually helps my thinking.

Ok, if something is going to happen, and lets face it it would be a perfect time for "someone" to attack (and no I don't know who "someone" is) Mankind in general is pretty spiritually defenceless (Don't anyone go and get scared now, I'm just talking worst case scenario here)
Do you think if something did happen that you'd be able to defend yourself/others?

I'm not to confident about defending others, in that situation I'd have to attack the agressor, I can't project any form of protection very far, ( I lose concentration too easily) I think I could probably envelop myself and a small child but nothing bigger.

I know there is something strange going on or balance wouldn't have allowed me develop the weaponry I have.

My feelings here is more that there are not one single threat, threating me and mine in particular. But more like a war coming up, that affects many... (not trying to cause paranoia) ...and that we are gathering forces, so to speak. People with abilities seeking out each other, often subconciously.

I was told by wiccans that the (a) Goddess is waking up these days, she has supposedly been asleep for a long time, but now she's coming back. And that most of the children born now are very very special. But I couldn't get the person to ellaborate more, the site was shut down. And I haven't managed to get a clear response to that from anyone else. So I don't know.

I think I might be able to defence me and mine, if I had to. After all, I have the strongest power of them all to tap into, the maternal instinct. If I use that right, I'll most likely be able to take on just about anything...I hope.

It feels a little like a gathering to me too.

I was thinking of teaching people a little just in case. I can't teach it all (blood oaths and all that malarky) but I would be allowed to teach people to snap up a pretty good defence and look as if they could handle themselves.

If anyone reading this is Buodokhan or similar could they please give me their opinion on whether this would be allowed?

If it is a gathering I wouldn't really know about, I was trained to fight alone and I don't really talk about any of this stuff IRL so for all I know some of my mates could be feeling it too.

Plus, my girlfriend has been trying to get me to take her there since she moved to this country.

Is that a good idea? or will that do more harm than good

You think this "war" is humans versus spirits/daemons or good versus evil (how cliche )? Do you realy think something "big" is happening? Crowley's back and this time he's the REAL Antichrist?! Cool and scary simultaniuosly...

I don't know. This is just a basic feeling, I still haven't figured out what it is about. Every theory I can think of just turns too far-fetched.

A war between spirits and humans..? First of all, why..? What could they possibly want..? And why would the ones who potentiall are the ones most likely to take the spirits' side prepare for battle..?

I've aired this thought other places as well, and the reoccuring feedback I got was the possibility of an upcoming war between organized religion and certain occult branches... A spiritual battle, not a physichal one.

As for Aleister Crowley, I fear him about as much as I fear a toothless bunny...

Sorry, enough stupidity. I did realise there is hardly going to be a physical battle, but a spiritual/psychic/magickal/whatever one... I haven't realy had that fealing, except the natural odd moment of hatred against certain groups. The damned Christians are always talking about the End Times coming soon (to a cinema near you...), what does Nostradamus say about it? Have you consulted scryers/readers/astrologers/whatever?
