i guess i'm rather into the fetish magick, i come up with pretty dangleysl all over...everything from silver belled chimes to a crystal chime with a crone flying over the moon in my car...i like chimes because they are supposed to attract the little people, and well, the crone has symbolism of wisdome and the dark ways...i also have a silver skeleton hanging from my car, i figure like the old costume concept...to keep death away, show he's already there...i've never been in an accident, and always seem to be lucky when i should have been...stopping just in time after going fifty and not seeing the red light, or the red truck infront but all i got was an okay and a sigh of relief...

I have a beautiful crystal chime which hangs in front of my window, it reflects the sunrise and sunset over my cream walls. A golden energy
Was rising out of my head
I shed my evil skin
And found myself again I was wrong, I don't mind
The impossible seems possible
This time I'm an electric wire
If the sun can radiate then so can I

I had a dragon pendant with a quartz crystal on it's tail .. but it got lost.
..*sighs*.. Anger that burst out of nothing, for evolution I shall charge into uncertainty's promised land. it's been a pleasure, but I think I am gone... yes necro, i'm aware of that fact..i was curious who else practices it, even if they don't realize it...My fetishes go beyond toe sucking...and i enjoy making them, anything from spendy trinkets purchased specifically for an intent, tied together with a chant...to the more simple aspects of poseys made with wild trappings i've found on walks...
the chimes in my car window was made with a specific intent...the circle for my twenty year old car to continue running as well as it does, the crystal to defract and break up negativity(i suffer horrible road rage) the chimes i find relaxing and calming, and the crone on the moon a symbol for wisdom to not go down a path of destruction with my large '84 buick...the skeleton is really more of a charm than a fetish...I could get into those i have hanging in and around my house, right down to silver belled ribbons tied to a lilac bush with with a collection fo bird feeders...to honor the goddess and her messengers, while attracting wee ones to my home environment....

Well fetish magick refered to the making of fetch as well as poppet, which is the European term for a Voodoo doll, or something charged as a focal point for someone life force imprint.
Which doesn't actually sound like what you mean. May Chaos Be Visited Upon You.

A poppet is just a charm, different to a voodoo doll, it is often used to focus energies in a positive way.
Its name has been tainted by connotations to 'black' magicks A golden energy

fet·ish also fet·ich ( P ) Pronunciation Key (ftsh, ftsh)
n.
1. An object that is believed to have magical or spiritual powers, especially such an object associated with animistic or shamanistic religious practices.
2. An object of unreasonably excessive attention or reverence: made a fetish of punctuality.
3. Something, such as a material object or a nonsexual part of the body, that arouses sexual desire and may become necessary for sexual gratification.
4. An abnormally obsessive preoccupation or attachment; a fixation.
I'd say mine is more animistic than shamanistic...i don't agree with some concepts of shamanism, and i definitly have the obsessive fixation covered too. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Ok, I will bow to you ladies. Although I will say I should have said European equivalent of a Voodoo doll, because they can be used in the same way (I made a Poppet of myself once).
I dont have a dictionary handy whats the current definition of A Fetch? May Chaos Be Visited Upon You.

gimmicks
Seriously though, I just got a nice piece of smoky quartz that when I concentrate on it, the smoke actually looks like it's moving.
That's the closest I come to object based magic, a focus point. sorry, I'll get my coat

Interesting, isn't amazing how language changes over time.
Anyway, my evil little secret is I make dreamcatchers, Amulets and charmed bracelets for friends when needed.... Although finding the feathers can be a bitch.... I am also known to bless water if such a need arises. May Chaos Be Visited Upon You.

i'm always finding feathers...my favorite is a red tailed hawk feather i found in a field when picking flowers after it swooped me...i believe that's one of my totems...i'm always seeing them soaring or just sitting on signs as i drive by...If i go out to my lilac bush i find a variety of little bird feather, chickadees, sapsuckers and sparrows are most common. However last summer there were some red winged black birds...i'm always surrounded by birds. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. magpies are fun to feed, i spent a summer feeding one a few years, i forgot the bread one morning and it actually followed me to my destination and kept swooping at me with a caw...not happy birds if you forget them, but they have tempers and memory.
