Here's my offering...
"Silver coins: Pure silver coins when placed directly on the talking board are believed to keep evil spirits at bay.
Candles: Preferably white and scentless to set the mood and cleanse the room.
Planchette: (Plan-shet) A pointing device or indicator used in conjunction with the talking board itself. The most common types of these will have either a view window in the center or a distinguished point used as an indicator, some have both of these features (ouija).
1.)Never play alone. (2 people 1 male and 1 female will get the best response)
2.)Never let the spirits count down through the numbers or go through the alphabet as they can get out of the board this way.
3.)If the planchette goes to the four corners of the board it means that you have contacted an evil spirit.
4.)If the planchette falls from a board, a spirit will get loose.
5.)If the planchette repeatedly makes a figure eight (sign of infinity), it means that an evil spirit is in control of the board.
6.)If you should get an evil spirit, quickly turn the planchette upside down and use it that way.
7.)The board must be "closed" properly (always say goodbye) or evil spirits will remain behind to haunt the operator.
8.)Never use the Board when you are ill or in a weakened condition since this may make you vulnerable to possession.
9.)Evil spirits contacted through the Board will try to win your confidence with false flattery and lies.
10.)Always be respectful and never upset the spirits.
11.)Never use the Board in a graveyard or place where a terrible death has occurred or you will bring forth malevolent entities.
12.)Sometimes an evil spirit can permanently "inhabit" a board. When this happens, no other spirits will be able to use it.
13.)When using a glass as a message indicator, you must always cleanse it first by holding it over a burning candle.
14.)Boards that are disposed of improperly, come back to haunt the owner.
15.)A Board will scream if you try to burn it. People who hear the scream have less than thirty-six hours to live.
16.)There is only one proper way to dispose of it: break the board into seven pieces, sprinkle it with Holy Water then bury it.
17.)Never leave the planchette on the board if you aren't using it.
18.)Don’t ask: about God, when you are going to die or where the gold is buried.
19.)If possible have a 3rd person sitting by with pen and paper who can record your session.
20.)Remember, not everyone is a perfect speller and this certainly applies to spirits.
21.)Be patient.
22.)Do not use the board when you have drugs or alcohol in your system. All living beings have a barrier around us that keeps us from being possessed; when you are inebriated this barrier is weakened.
23.)It does not work for everyone.

Making an evil talking board and where to use it or Things you should never do!!!
Wood: Get the wood for the board from a coffin (used). Or take the wood from a floor where someone was killed. Various places can contain the wood your looking for, just remember that if death surrounds it it’s a good piece of wood.
Paint: Use black paint and mix it with human blood.
After you have made your board go to the scene of a murder or into a graveyard late at night and you will be certain to have visitors."
now we've all, well i'm sure most at one time have played with these boards...now is this a true requirement for making and using a quija board, is it better to make your own, or will a manufactured one will work at all?
personally i don't believe it, I rarely buy into the dramatic aspect of it, i'm more attracted to the ritual aspect of magick...i do believe they work, and i made my own! Red with black and silver lettering, hand painted by your's trule
