Okay so many people believe that angels and demons will take humans to either hell or heaven on the last day which is suppose to be on October 2003. I honestly don't believe that. I mean, most people that believe this are Catholics. My religion doesn't depend on it, but I was just curious. What does everyone else picture the "last day" to be like, if you do believe in it?

Unless we create a 'last day' prior the the event I should think the sun going nova will sort us all out. In which case I picture the last day as being fairly bright... ~v~

i'm not really sure about the VERY last day of the world, but i do have a similiar theory. I think that someday, not necessarily soon(definately not 200 but years, maybe centuries from today, our society's technology will become so great that somehow we will all be destroyed. Then history will repeat itself; we'll start all over again.

Some "priest" mentioned that he had a dream in which God/Jesus/an angel appeared to him saying that that's when the world will end. I honestly don't believe any of it. The world can end now for all I care.

Well I like Kosuke theory about history repeating itself, that could be interesting, but as for the end of the world, I have heard three different theory already, I heard in 97 sometime it was suppost to happen, then december 28th of 98 and finally like millions of others the year 2000 "Y2K" anyway I'm actually tired of hearing about the world ending, and all these people talking about someday the world will end, if it is gonna happen don't tell me just let it happen. By the way incase you are interested if the world was to end 2000 years after the Christ was born it would have happened in like 93 because I have heard that we are actually 7 years behind, do to the fact we only started counting 6 years about he was born, and that we did a year at one time or another. But also think about this, in some religions, the new year is January 1st and in others it is in October, now someone try and pick a date for the end of the world.

I think the last day or the end will be total chaos, hunger, war, death, poverty, you name it and it it will be like that. But I don't think that anyone actually knows or can pin point when it will happen.

I haven't heard any Catholics I know talking about the end of the world at all. It sounds more like one of those cult things that happens every few years. Its usually the Moonies. They come up with this end of the world prediction, the day passes, and life goes on. I've seen it happen about a dozen times so far. Obviously these people haven't gotten their calculations exact just yet...

A 1000 years ago the first crusades were launched, and the black plaugue swept across Europe. People back then belived it was the end times. Now a 1000 years later different gadgets and magic potions are among us and people think it's the end. I will say this themonuclear and people not keeping their legs closed could cause the end. Jesus or whoever comes back has their hands full, because if the world governements don't get him or her humanity will destory him or her. Humans only care about the latest SUV, or Surivor tv show on, so they will disreguard the end. I just hope that I am alive to see it all, because I will be laughing.

Many people have predicted the end of the world, but most of the recent ones also predicted that we would be driving flying cars before 2000. What a load of shit. In around 30 milion years the sun is going to nova and take out this pathetic little planet and anything else that is around at the time

so why bother, right? we're all gonna be rendered to our constituent atoms and molecules anyway in millions and millions of years, so what does it matter?

the posibility of the earth ending, has been a prophecy by many. As we all know the world didn't end in the year 1999 neither in the year 2000. The end cannot be certain, but The mayan calendar really ends in the year 2012, some say 2013. How can we know if we aren't there yet. As the same thing with the year 2000, why worry if you are alive now.

i dont belive in the christians god... or thier last day like that... do belive that there will be a last day for each and every one of us.. each shall have thier own.. usually its the day we die.. that is the day that the world as we know it ends... and we go on to heaven....the after life..reincarnation or whatever you belive in...
to go from a strictly scientific approach.. eaither the sun with nova and we will be chrispy and good with katchup.... or our technology will surpass us...


personaly i belive that the Goddess above and mother earth are getting a bit pissed off at us and are preparing to kick out butts...in which case it will be a time of purging for the world.. then regrowth and life will start over again..i hope to be one of the lucky ones to see that in my next life
