Someone asked me what an elder is, so here is the answer. An elder is a spiritual leader. They are usually associated with Celtics and Druids. Here is some more information about an elder in the UK.

I understand the grandfather and grandmother thing from the native american view point...but after looking over the sight...aside from a picture of stonehedge I see no way as to how it ties in with celts...which originally included druids...it's back to the commandment...respect your elders...
