hi I was just wondering how many people here belive the is a Devil I do.

To believe in the devil you would have to be a christian. i am not and therefore I dont.

You dont' have to be Christian to believe in the devil. There are some Satan worshippers that don't belive in God.

ehhhh???? the entire Duel Pantheon of Christianity is based upon God and the Devil..... if you believe in God you believe in the Devil and vice versa.... you are correct though that some who believe in satan do not believe in god yet the devil is a christian creation....

I believe the Devil is a fine example of how Christianity distorts the original texts.

I believe the devil exists, but I don't believe in the devil.

i believe there are entities out there, these entities are intelligent creatures and will often call themselves what would be easiest for their contact to understand...so yes, i believe a devil is a high possibility for reality, people may have talked to devils, but one persons devil could be another persons ghost...but as in the christian sense of one whose pure evil, seeking to tempt man to turn from god for some revenge factore of being made inferior to humanit, no, not really...there is the possibility that is indeed reality...but until i die and know for sure i'm sticking with the "i believe it's possible, and anyone can be anything their mind can conjure."

On the Devil, I again step away from the possible arrogance that comes with stating outright that if you believe that something doesn't exist then it doesn't exist

I will freely admit that I don't know everything therefore I can't Know that the Devil exists but I also can't know that the Devil doesn't exist so I err on the side of caution and assume that the Devil exists.

I believe in the Devil, but only because I accidently miscalcualted a spells defence and Invoked something that could only be described as Pure Evil... I'd like to point out though this is a common occurance in certain types of magick, but only if you make a mistake.

Why should Evil Knevil be any different

I never really asked my friend, a satanist, much about his religion, but from what I think I know, Satanist believe in self indulgence. I Don't think they believe in an entity named Satan who rules a place called hell. Now satan worshipers are a different story.

If there are any satanists who can tell me if I'm right or wrong, please do so. I'm not quite sure if I'm right.
