ALL religions i believe are ridiculous, I'm not saying there isn't a god, I'm saying that every religion is made up by man and alot of it is prevalent and obvious... for instance a Islam man is promised 72 dark haired virgins from god if he kills himself for the good of the people and for his god .... Obviously man made from back when women were seen as objects and not treated as people, for what woman would want to share a man with 72 other women and also lose there virginity to them, because they blew themselves up?

also there is over 150 major religions, what makes everyone believe there's is right and that no other one could be right nor that there's could even be wrong?
i have to go but i would like to sort of get in debates about this sort of stuff and learn some things about religions beside christianity which is flaunted all over in America ... i want to learn other religions and understand them better!

Yes the islam thing ties in with that too, because in alot of their history and even future, there has been and continues to be war, so by man writing a religion like that it benefits them.

the other thing is that alot of things religions tell you not to do... like eat meat for example, can be justified because back then they didn't have fridges or any way to preserve there meats for very long and alot of people got sick and/or died from eating spoiled meat... so some dude says i will make a religion that says it's a sin against god to eat meat and not so many people will die...blah blah blah basically there is no reason not to eat meat and if god didn't want us eating meat or any animals killing for food and what-not then why did he create predators .... predators keep the populations down, even, and are important to the ecosystem ... there is no reason god wouldn't want us to eat meat

No, I think that good and evil do not exist (as well as reality, because what we call real is what we can see, and we can't see everything). Those things that help us and those we can understand are good ones. Evil is the unknown, and those things that interfere with our plans; that damage us. But for those who damage us, we are the evil ones. There is only one reality: devour or be devoured.

I find all of this religion stuff so... i dunno funny in a kind of satire way
my teacher and i talk religions and he knows a lot about the most popular ones, and even though he's not suppose to we have gotten into some pretty ridiculous conversation about some practices and what-not...but it's mainly great because him and i have almost the same views on god and religion. He's where i got the 72 dark haired virgins from, that actually became a class discussion when we were talking about World War II, i don't remember how it got to the virgins but it was pretty funny.
