Religion & The OccultDiscuss are demons, devils and the such really that mean? in the Debate and Discussion forums; i don't understand why so many people have such negative experiences with entities, some one is always wanting a banishing, exorcism, binding, some goal to painfully destroy some being......
i don't understand why so many people have such negative experiences with entities, some one is always wanting a banishing, exorcism, binding, some goal to painfully destroy some being...without even knowing why they're being...assaulted?
i don't understand because i've never had anything happen as severe as what i've read, on this board and others...
what's the difference between those that are whispered sweet nothings from the beyond, in a moment receiving some guidance or support from a supernatural brushing, interest or fascination, versus those who are attacked, terrorized, and left feeling so helpless?
are some people just more spiritually likeable than others?

I remember one time, I had an encounter in dreams .. never saw a face, but it felt rather mad .. like, so much anger without reason .. they ask you things and you can feel their frustration when they cannot find what they want from you. I assumed it was a lost spirit.
Anger that burst out of nothing, for evolution I shall charge into uncertainty's promised land.

They are not mean as such, any more than anything else, call it an incompatibilty. Demon and devil conciousness is an alien conciousness... so their passions and desire are also alien.... besides that, to demons and devils we're food.
Spirits are different, we're not their food source but their basic passion aren't based in flesh either so once their conciousness is also different.
My guardian would most likely be classified as a demon or suchlike...the descriptions I get from those who has met him are startingly similar....but I've never had any trouble with him, apart from his constant grumpiness...he definately protects me...

put it this way...when a tree falls on you did it do it because it was nasty or because you were in the wrong place at teh wrong time. you have to remeber that people are far from perfect, and they always take something with them into those meetings. sure there are naughty spiritual buggers out there, there are those who find it fun to remove socks also, but it's just down to a case of misunderstanding....or teh people themselves being pillocks from the start

Everyone that I know that has had experience with spirits, have only had bad experiences...either very violent or very tramatic.
I have never heard of a good experience..and if the spirits are malevolent, won't they try and pretend to be friendly to earn your trust
that's a common story i hear...i am curious why?
in all my years of spiritualism i've had unintentional startles(they were ready, i was not)but, i've never had any of them try to harm me or attack me, even the ones that were angry...*shrugs* maybe they couldn't...but that's what i'm not understanding...
why are people are being hurt by them? Stronger guardians, stronger wills...more pleasant...what makes that difference...do some people just have a knack for the otherside?

ok well Daemons are in a way more freelance "angels" for lack of better words.
Yeah unlike the angels, daemons are less forgiving of what they consider a lesser species. Being more independent creatures, they tend to do what they want as they are not bound by the laws that the fluffy white light spirits are.
just think white magick and black magick when considering what its like.
Here's a good counter-question, Jordyn: Would they be spoken of the way the are if they weren't. I mean, if we're talking abot what we say we're talking about, these guys steal children and replace them with demonic imposters, they salt crops, poison wells, tempt the minds of the innocent, spook cows into producing sour milk, and soil clothes after they are washed. what? i think, this may be what you're asking...
i've never had a bad experience with any entity, one of my friends did, she fell asleep on a quija board that we just finished playing with...but the spirits we'd been playing with all night, didn't like her...so i'm just trying to comprehend why there are people that think they are malignent forces out to torture and destroy humanity...
why are there those that...dance with them, and others that cower from them?
