why do people always assume that if you aren't christian or catholic, (or other religions that believe in God) you are a satanist???? as for the question asked, I don't believe anything the bible says...when I was younger I read the bible and there are huge gaps in it. I like to read biblical based stories but as for the bible I don't think there are many truths in it because of the unexplainable gaps in time, the time is never made up for.

And I didn't like the fact either that she (cherylhaynes) just assumed/implied everyone here were Satanists either. If that wasn't the case, it was misunderstood due to being non-specific. I'm not any of the things mentioned at all, though I am a little studied on the mentioned belief systems or have some experience in them, and I could see where someone could find that offensive or ridiculous.

That's why i found the post amusing and figured people would be on here telling this person how silly and possibly ignorant it sounded. I mean, think about it, it was funny in an off kind of way. Or maybe it was posted with an irony we all missed and knowing the reaction that would happen. Maybe it was posted pretending to be ignorant but really being intelligent and making fun of those who are actually that ignorant. That would at least be fun and intelligent. But then, i think we're giving too much credit with that thought.

You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

This is why I can't stand this person...she autmotcially assumes we're all "Gothic" and that all "Goths" worship Satan.
I ain't a fuckin' Goth nor do I worship any diety, or follow any religious mode of thought.
And furthermore, I'm sure someone already pointed this out to her, but Satanism doesn't necessarily denote worshiping Satan. Theistic Satanism, yes. But Satanism (modern Satanism), on the otherhand, is more along the lines of an agnostic belief.
