Baha’iism
The religion of Baha’i views itself as a revelation of of/from god to all people.
The history of Baha’iism
In 1820 Mirza Ali Mohammed, or commonly known as “The Bab” (Witch is produced as The Bob) Was born. He was born into the middle east. The name “The Bab” means “The gate”, in his later life he held rebellions ageist the government, he tried to assassinate a leader, and was himself killed by Persian assassins, he died in 1850. His last words were “Another prophet will follow me”
In 1817 Mirza Hussein Ali was born into the same region and declared himself the Baha’u’llah (Or “Glory of god”). He believed himself to be the promised messiah that the Bab had promised, he sent letters all over the world, mostly in the middle east, saying that he had come to redeem the world, and he was the preacher of gods will. This resulted in persecution. In the year 1892 he died.
Today the Baha’I boasts a 70000 centers, but has no definite member count.
The teachings of baha’I
All human actions work in cycles.
Prophets include Adam, Abraham, Moses, Krishna, Buddah, Christ, Mohammed, and Baha’u’llah.
(Opinion: The bab’s final words were another prophet will follow me, so how was he not a prophet, well never mind.)
Baha’I believes that all religious books and teachings are valid, but are in “Embryo Form”
Baha’u’llah, considers himself the fulfillment of all religious promises, he claims he came to earth to bring justice, and teach the truth about god, and clear away any errors in other religions.
Baha’u’llah’s writings are sacred but the curch does not follow them, instead they interpret the “Voice of God” as seen everywhere (such as society, and other places.)
They have goals as a curch, such as.
1. World Peace
2. Settlement of all social problems.
Universal goals such as.
1. World government.
2. One Language.
3. One currency.
4. One world law enforcement system.
Ultimate Goals
1. No end of the world, no judgment day.
2. An inner change, resulting in world harmony.
Also, the only way that the world ends, is through ourselves, if we don’t follow the teachings that is.
Baha’iism is mostly based in the middle east, but they are coming to america, as an alternative curch body. This is a report that I am handing in monday...

You might want to significantly rethink every part of that report before handing it in.
Well, what educational level are we talking about? To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

End conclusion: Just another wrapper religion bent on assuming power. 'Though their goals appear admirable, I doubt they can achieve such through religion. Especially a religion that defines all others as faulty.
I'm curious to how they interpret that "Voice of God" of theirs... Are they examining social, cultural, political and enviormental events for this?
Any links? ... Time has no bearing... ...when the whiteout begins...

Well, what educational level are we talking about? | Highschool, world reliegon, extra credit. I need to edit it a bit, the teacher just wanted to know what it was about. The teacher dosent really care, he just wanted an outline. He just wants it for his outline thing, for class ya know.
I got my information from the encylopedia of world reliegons, and google, but they pretty much said the same thing.

Its not big in america yet, but onece it gets more realized, I am guessing its gonna go huge. Its a very accepting reliegon, as in no matter what you are they say 'Your right, But!" Not to mention a big WORLD PEACE movement with teenagers.

If they look into society and they say society is gods will, then wouldnt anything done in society be correct in their reliegon?
Not to mention how do you tie in these books together, and other teachings. Must be hard.

I had a friend in high school whose family followed the Baha'i religion, and that was back in the mid to late 1980s...
