Anyone know anything about them?

I've been told mine is deep blue with a black jagged outline and would like to know what that means.

I don't know what the colors mean, but I know they are constantly changing. You may have one or more base colors that are more constant, but also other colors that displays your current mood and emotions. But I'll check around and see if I can find out more.

Blue-
Quiet, highly spiritual, religious, natural teacher, healer and calm. Any shade of blue in the aura is good to have. Deep blue in an aura shows one who has found his/her work and or destiny in life. Blue may also represent a tendancy to be moody and depressed.

Black-
Protection. May reflect a person who's hiding something. It may indicate mental imbalances as well.

The colours change but usualy individuals have a "base colour" which is unique to them. Perhaps you are subconsciously hiding some deep new spiritual revelation, or something of that sort?...

Or it could be that the black is his shield. I got the impression he has a strong one.

So...auras...how do I find my aura? Do I need to find someone who can see it?

I think you're supposed to be able to condition yourself to see auras, but I don't think you can see your own. You'll have to contact someone who can. Make sure they're not wakko's though...

The Aura
Under the right conditions, it is possible to clairvoyantly observe a colored light around other people. This is known as the 'aura'. Sometimes the aura is seen as multi-colored emanations around the person, built up of various differently colored layers and zones. Although many occult dabblers claim to be able to see the aura easily and under many varied conditions, I seriously doubt that they do. There are optical illusions and qualities of sight which can sometimes trick one into thinking he sees what he does not see. In this area, the quality of sight known as after image is especially pertinent. Do this: stare at any solidly colored bright object for a few moments. Very intense red, green, or blue are especially good for this. Now look away at a white surface and you will see a phantom image of the object in its complementary color (a red object will show green, a blue one orange, etc.). If the bright object is in front of a light surface, you may observe a fringe of complementary color around the object after a few moments. This is all very normal, and is used by some magical groups as an aid to visualization sometimes called 'flashing colors'. Some silly people will stare at other people in the same way. And when they see the after image of the person's clothing, they think they are seeing his aura. What is more, various meanings have been attributed to the colors of the aura. A psychic who can see the aura is supposed to be able to determine that persons emotional state. Thus psychic frauds can have a marvelous time with auras. One deluded psychic taught a class I attended in which he performed instant psychoanalysis on the basis of the supposed aura. It was obvious that he was actually observing after images from the students clothes!

This brings us to the chart of aura colors on the next page. It is a general guide, based mostly on Theosophical material. Various groups may attribute different meanings to the colors. The colors we show on the chart are emotional in nature; useful if you plan to create an artificial elemental or do healing. Surrounding yourself with a particular color will tend to produce the specific psychological effect described in the chart. That quality of color is useful in magick ritual.

Okies, no pressure. Just my insatiable curiosity popping up again.

Hmmm...I think I know the guy to ask. I'm not sure if he can see auras, but he's very into healing/astral planes/energy fields. And that sorta relates to auras, right? He is currently doing his own little research on the difference in the energy fields on kids with one parent and kids with two. So far, his conclusion is that kids living with both parents are calmer and more stable.

Once you can see others you can see yours as well..They come in all shapes and sizes..You may find something that distinguishs one persons aura from the other..For example a ring around a persons eyes..Or an opening within the aura..The colors don't change as much as people believe..Each person usually has at least one main color that always stays with them..

I'm not an expert on what the colors mean..I don't even see why people are granted these gifts..but just believe me on this one..

I don't look at auras with my eyes. Though since I haven't studied on it I'm not sure what the colors mean either. It's one of those things I have to work on.

From what I've heard, mine don't change that much but I suppose that could just be the colour that the people I know who can read my aura cause the same emotions in me all the time, but the general consensus is that the black layer doesn't change(as in doesn't flicker or move), they were all really excited by that.

I could ask them I suppose but I don't talk to them anymore because they exploited me for what I could do.. I don't like that..

Auras eh... never seen one... though I must say that this is about the only thing I can think of as actually existing... that is why I am commenting on it... first off... I have had three different people over the years exclaim upon mine... they each described the same thing which lends credence to thier story.... Red throughout with streaks of blue and gold running through it.... I have also been told that I have a large red protrusion floating over my shoulder???? Uh-huh.... well as to how I feel about this phenomona.... we are large balls of bio-electric energy which I am sure gives off faint emmissions.... as for seeing it... perhaps in the proper setting one could see it....
So yes people having auras does have a bit of credence to it... it is the only reason I am not Arguing the fact... though if true I am sure the explanation is simple...

Could be that your spirit guide, or one of them at least, is located on your shoulder.

Or, a slightly more mundane idea, have you had any physichal problems, pains, injuries or something in your shoulder?
