Meh. Unless you can read aramaic, and have some awesome friends in high places, there's no way you could read a "legit", as it were, version of the bible anyways. So oh well. Would be kinda fun to check it out, just for entertainment's sake, however.

That's a loaded question. In order to have been "left" in the Protestant Bible, there would have to be a Protestant Bible in the first place, and there isn't. I think what you're trying to say is whether or not one or more of the Protestant movements should have, or should now, return the Apocrypha to the Bible that was removed by Church officials during the council of Nicea. (Though I can't remember if they did so in the first or second of those councils...they were about 450 years apart, so...)

after all, it was a serpent that lead to the downfall of man, spiders really didn't have that much to do with the christian version of events. It is fascinating however the cultures that do revere them for their weaving talents...and poisoning to, i suppose.

hmm the Apocrypha eh??? that's a hard shell to crack, but my only understanding of it is the term used now days apocryphal...which is a false understanding...so now the younger generations think the Apocrypha to be a false scripture by the new definition.... but that's not the case. i only have a small understanding of it so i couldn't really hold a debate about it.

Not that I'm aware of. The apocrypha, as I understand it, are the books that were removed by the council of Nicea in the early middle ages. I don't suppose you'd care to name which five books you're talking about...
