According to christianity, anyone who does not believe in or follow the teachings of jesus christ is an antichrist by definition. If this is so then why have they decided to roll all antichrists into a little ball and then call them the ANTI-CHRIST and say that they will destroy the world. Also, why do christians go on about the anti-christ when most of them are anti-christs themselves, they do not completely follow the words of THEIR savior

What did Jesus build? Directly, a religion. Indirectly, a lot. For better of for worse, the belief in Christ is one of the building blocks for much of the modern world. You always hear about all of the horrible things, like the Inquisition and the Crusades, that the Christians have done. They would not have been able to do these things if they were not _everywhere_. (They have done good things as well, but no one likes to remember those). They fight over his words. They cry over his words. They die over his words. They love over them, eat, sleep, and pray over them. Yes, every religion does their own versions of these things, but they don't have the sheer numbers.
Am I a Christian? No. But there are more of them then then there is of me, and because of that they have had greater influence.

However, and this is where it starts getting fascinating, in the Old Testament, anyone who worked against the will of God, was labelled a Satan. There were a lot of Satans wandering the earth....but when the church needed a public scapegoat, something to scare the followers with so they would keep in line, they used the term 'satan', mixed it with the legend of Lucifer, added some pagan and heathen beliefs along with a few of the old jewish traditions, and voila! Satan was born...

Karma: You do something bad something bad happens to you.
Hell: You do something bad, something bad happens to you.
Both are concepts created by a religion to help channel, focus, and yes, control their worshipers actions.

It's not created by religion, but created by humans...we need something to keep us in line. What happens to a child with no boundaries, who never experiences any consequences for its actions?
