I'm speaking about some New BornChristian going to the home of other Christian,to annoy them.And when they come to my country ,not really speaking the language,to tell us ,some Practicants of a very ancient Christian Religion,(I'm talking Catholics) that we are Pagans?And ,us,syncretics,half Pagans. . .
I ask, they have the Right?

I suppose that would depend on the country you live in. It also depends on whether you have the right to tell them they are wrong and shut the door in their face.

The fact that there are Christian groups attempting to provide "missionary work" to Catholics is highly amusing. I don't mean to laugh at your problem, but it is funny.

I'm somewhere in the so call Third World. . .An d It's not funny coming here in the name of a Religion(?) asking money to who as few or nothing to eat.Is a shit. . .

They're asking you for money? That's not missionary work. Here in America, we call that panhandling. Do what we do: tell them to piss off and get a job if they want some cash.

The thing is working as follows ,they have a Big Propaganda in the radio and inTV most of the night.They say things like "If you have a problem come to . . .(name of the church(pentecostal) or " lost your Job?" "Family problems?' come to the. . .
After that they go the Poor Neighboroughs and invite the peopleo the Church "have a problem? come to hear!"When you are there ,they say More you give to God ,God help you more ! Do a sacrifice to be helped!And then ,the envelopes . . .Or sometimes . . ."Who gives 100 Reals(our money) to the Lord?"
People goes. . .1 ,2 or 3 and "Who gives 50 ?or 30? or 20? C'mon. . .
The religion of our fathers is to be Pagan. . .And when you are a ''kind of"Pagan,I mean local Vodun stuff. . .You worship the Devil. . .Is Hard . . .

They say to be Missionaries and they believe that we are Morons(I think). . .

What you have there certainly aren't missionaries in the traditional sense. If they're trying to get people, who have very little money to begin with, to donate to the church, they're nothing but crooks. My apologies for the troubles they're causing. True missionaries will attempt to convert people, that much is true, but they usually try to help, not to gather money.

Are these people Americans? If so, do you know, or can you find out, what the actual name of their church or organization is?

There are a couple of religious groups out there that will solicit their religion door to door or person to person.

It's really quite annoying yes. Some of them will ask for contributions to the church yes, which I completely disagree with. I think it's rather, "unholy" of them to be doing that. The others which come knocking on my door, I've been considerably less close minded to ever since I had a pair of boys show up at the house last summer, from the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Mormons I guess? They were persistent in that they wouldn't just take no for an answer, but it paid off for both of us because they offered if there was anything that they could "help out" with. So, not believing them I said jokingly, "Well if you want to do my dishes.." -- And they did. They took off their shoes, came in, washed dried and put away my dishes. *Laughs*

I also didn't give them a chance to talk about "God" or "Jesus" much however, I asked them where they were from, where in my country they had been (They were from Ohio, I live in British Columbia Canada) and how they liked Canada and whether it was much different from where they lived, etc etc. Stuff like that. And just so I wasn't a complete jackass by having them do my dishes AND not get to talk about God, I made them each a glass of pink lemonade. LOL

So, whenever solicitors come to my door from now on, or to any of your doors, if they're from the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints -- Don't turn them away quite so abruptly, get them to wash your windows first.

Religion is like Politics, it goes against social etiquette for what is acceptable to be talked about.

My parents drilled into me at a fairly young age that Religion, Politics, and Income, are the 3 no no's for public discussion. LoL

Mormons are insisting but they are nice people .And sometimes they really help. . .
Many poor people here is going to their church to learn English . . For Free !
As I said before, I'm speaking of The Pentecostal or NewBorn.Both, people coming from the US as Locals .With different names as the tradional US Pentecostal(remember Jimmy Swaggart) to local, like the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. ALmost all the Pentecostal act like that ( I must admit that the Assembly after Swaggart affair is a little more discreet)Not only the money part ,also the attack to the local beliefs (the Catholics are Pagan to them).Think about the simple people that honor the african deitys here.Pagans?No!Satan followers! that bring a great pain to the homes of our people.Many times putting Fathers againt Children! Here is So normal going to the Catholic Church and then to the Vodun Temple(myself),And is Ok for everybody( I don't know what the Catholic priest say,but I suspect they agree).The Pentecostal brought Religious war to inside our families.

don't let them tell you that the vodun is of satan. You know the power behind it, and even greater power then they can claim! the magick of the christian faith does not hold a light to that of a voodoo priest! I say you should hold a meeting of the old ones and summon the gods for a show of force.

Mormons are sometimes too damn nice.... I live in Salt lake City the Mormon capital of the world..... see they wait until you join before ripping you off thats when they tell you about thier 10% Tithe hehe.... elsewise they actually help out in communities..... I do not agree with thier beliefs at all.... but i gotta give them that much....

Mormoms are something special ,When you are here in ,let's say,the jungle in Paraguay ,witha terrible red dirt ,that let Everything red.The mormons appear ,always in two ,with their short-sleeves white shirt (always white) using a Tie! in that incredible heat. . .We are all sweaty ,dirty of that horrible red soil.They are not !Also they are so blond,in a country where 90% is Indian or Half-breed!That sometimes we admire them.
I,for instance, like to practice my English with them.I don't know if they take many people to their church ,talking in a Broken Spanish. . .But they give some kind of help.At least teaching English one or twicw a week.Our problem here are not them. . .But the Pentecostal or NewBorn. . .
