Could someone tell me why so many people put 666 by there name? I really dought most of them even know what satanism is. Now Im not bashing sataism here. I just saying do people think there is something "cool" or "gothic" about it? Do I go around and tell everyone my religoin at every turn? I think not. I mean what is it? why do people are are not even satanist do it? I used to study that and was pretty deep into it. I never went around with 666 by my name. Ok im done venting now.

But anyways, a lot of peeps try and make a statement with that number. A very childish one at it, then it kinda shows they have not wholly decoded what the basic idea behind satanism is...

Personally I believe it to be a small statement against the system, against authority. I can see the arguement that some do it to look cool and I imagine some do but i bet they're all rebels at heart.
Some of them might be kids and they'll grow out of it. Some do it to fit in because the feel the need to be part of a pack or clan.

7 is the number of completeness and perfection, from a Judaic/christian/muslim point of view. 6 is one less than pefect, aka, the number of man. 666 represents an unholy trinity, a trinity not of higher powers, but of man. 666 is a christian thingy.

The number 7 as completion is not restricted to monotheistic religions. 7 chackra's, in the ethereal body... Methinks buddists/wiccans know this as well, as a number of totality.

Do you know the meaning of the three Hebrew letters added together which are; vav, vav, vav. And do you know what these letters when added together represent.
