Okay. Obviously there's a bit of apprehension involved in meeting people from the internet. I think the convention is the safest way for people to hook up and hang out. Basically I want to remind everyone that this is an event endorsed by darkforum.com. No one says you have to be on your best behavior, but it's important to remember that we're all virtual strangers. Certain things aren't going to be appropriate at this function.. such as: rape, killing of any sort, fighting unless it's verbal, and drug overdoses/alcohol poisoning. If anyone has any issues regarding security at this thing... let us know. We might be able to work something out.

Well. So far I haven't seen anyone coming that would present a problem. SDS and I were discussing something that might be a good idea here; to only give the name of the hotel, etc to persons who were signed up to go. What do you think?

I think it's a good idea. I just don't want anything bad to happen, then we're held liable because we put it together. I'm paranoid.
