I think that every couple has to determine how important sex/attraction/emotional whatnot is to them. For some people, like me, sex isn't a big deal. They can have a happy, healthy relationship without needing to be too terribly attracted to one another because they like each other so gosh darned much. For other people-- like my sister-- to be in a sexually unfulfilling relationship is worse than death. The 'test drive' will determine if the relationship can progress.
