The people that inhabit the DF are quite an interesting bunch...and I mean that in a good way. Need more people like that on my forums (not that I'm competing with DF in anyway).........

At the very least there will be an adult themed forum/subforum. However, since the overall forum also caters to the nerd community, some sort of access control would have to be implemented.

Last thing we'd need is some pimple faced 13 y/o fapping to Sybelle's picture and getting busted by his parents who then decide to blame us for the whole thing instead of accepting the fact that teenagers (some adults too) do this sort of thing.

How would you make it work though? the only way is pin federal ID and that way you would isolate the majority of potential posters

Incase you're not sure what that is its a code legally given to those over 18 to prove their age on the net

so how would it block potential posters unless they're underage?

because most people dont apply for them, I dont think they are free, plus im not sure, but I think they are only available in the US
