hmmm online dating can be dangerous... then sometimes online dating never really works well... god my brain is so dead that i have to sit here and think of something else to say... sometimes it takes me a hole intire day just to think of something... plus to top that i'm lazy... never be a person thats lazy and shit for brains... it doesn't get you anywear... but what ever floats your boat is cool with me...

go for ones that charge money rather than free ones. guys that will pay to meet girls are a lot more genuine and in my opinion, it's less dodgey. also, with free ones, people tend just to do it and not go back.

i reckon you're better off on some messenger and looking up people in your area, talking with them a bit and if you like the sound of them ask to meet them. don't go for ones that ask to meet you only because its a higher chance that they're dodgey and go on to find girls to meet and do stuff to.

In my own experience, I had joined Gothic Personals where I met my girlfriend Andrea. We e-mailed each other for a few months, then we talked on the phone for a few months, then we used snail mail to send each other pictures and hand written letters for a few more months. She moved to Idaho from New Orleans and we’ve never been happier.

In another experience, a friend of mine met this guy over the net and thought she was in love with him. He moved up here from another state and the two were engaged. The guy turned out to be a weirdo so she broke up with him…he started stalking her, to top it off, she’s pregnant with his kid.

What I’m getting at, is should you join a dating connection agency and you meet some one…take the time to really get to know them…pen pal, phone friend, friend, and so on. There are a lot of people out there looking for that special some one, but you also have a lot of weirdoes looking for the same thing.

If your not in a rush to find some one, go for it.

But no, I do not think I'd hire the services of a dating agency to try and find someone I could love. Something tells me I'd be looking in the wrong place...

that's kinda scary that he turned out to be a wierdo and started stalking her, but well seeing as my girlfriend just broke up with me yesterday i think i might just fly solo a while and then check out the different agency's they have out there i'm not even sure whether i want a boyfriend or a girlfriend right now.
