some friends and i had a conversation about scars the other day. i got a nifty one on my eyebrow from when i was little. i was playing with some dolls (i refuse to call them Barbies) and i was sitting on the end of my bed in my socks and when i leaned foreword to get something i slipped off and banged my head off my toy chest and now i have a neato heart shaped scar on there.
I got a paper-cut so deep it scared. I have a few of those. I have a few more random ones from my cat and a freak accident with a can opener, a fishing rod, a bag of sugar, and a carrot but I'm not ready for that one.

I have a ragged scar underneath my chin, as I was 5 and popped a wheelie with a trike that was bigger than me at the time (back then, kids, things like bikes were made out of metal) and fell ass over teakettle onto the pavement....unfortunately, the handlebar went into my mouth, puncturing my palette and pushing all my teeth in the front and back into my gums. (Yes, they came back for all the smartasses out there.) I have a matching scar on my lip and scars on said palette as well. My older brother and I were fooling around after the stitches were removed and he hit me by accident on the chin, and I had to have them butterfly sutured (because you can't restitch a stitch.)

Scar on my belly button=tubal ligation almost seven years ago

Scar in the first joint of my left hand middle finger.....I "caught" a pair of hedge clippers (they were electric). (Two stitches there.)

Scar on the same finger (top) cut with a knife trying to remove a pair of safety scissors from the package. (Never mind, you........)

lessee. elbow scar from a blotched 180*. landed in some sand on the blacktop and lost it. one hip scar, shoulder scar, and knee scars from catching a wooden strip on my skates and sliding about 15' down the owensboro boat ramp. back of the knees/knees/hip/face/unconcious for a minute from a bike wreck were the chain let loose and i rolled it down the sidewalk 3 times. slammed my glasses into my face and embedded rocks in the right lense. i had the glasses 2-3 days. chipped tooth from nosing the board into the water off a method(trick) wakeboarding. guess i had my teeth clenched wrong. bunch of other stuff but its more internal like busted ankles/wrists/etc.

oh, scar on my thumb from a multipurpose knife's can opener. i was trying to open a cable filter. hindsight says it wasn't a real bright move. fuck stitches, use the lquid bandade.

only major scars I have are stretch marks on my chest from working out

I have one on my hand from helping my grandma. Its what I get. she (as in me) was cleaning out her basement and we (I) found this old Christmas tree and when I was chucking it into the trash can a giant metal spike tore my arm up from elbow to mid hand.

the inside of my thighs have razor scars because cutting takes all the pain away.

I have a scar on my right eyebrow from my piercing being ripped out. I also have a chicken pox scar on my left temple.

Hmm...A scar on the top of my left hand from a nervous habit of scratching there. Scars on the inside of my left arm. One on my right knee from a fall on a rock.

i've got several...one on my knee from wading in a swimming hole and coming into contact with some barbed wire, the other knee is scarred from falling and slicing it on ice...those were my younger experiences,

i have quite a few scars on my hands from pens(not good items to have in a pocket), and one that's fading from a bun steamer...the ones on my arms i'm not so proud of, most intentional, a few not paying attention when doing dishes...and a funny curved one on my foot, again from playing in a swimming hole and some idiot had tossed in a broken bottle...that was fun bike ride home

small one on my left hand between my knuckles from my dog. a little hole on my left hand from stabbing myself with a pencil in 3rd grade. another small one on my left hand from.. god knows what. scar on left inner elbow from a self inflicted salt and ice thing. round scar on my upper stomach from taking a bottlecap, pressing it into the skin and twisting really hard. inch scar on left knee from a playground fight or something in 1st grade. odd scar on right hand from a nail that scratched me. very small scar on my right thumb from when my dog ran me into the outside grill. more on my legs from god knows what, and an inch scar on my back from my exboyfriend.

I have a huge one on my hand. People never notice it until I point it out, and even then I have to compare it to the other hand. It's all over the bottom part of my left index finger. There's actually less skin there than on my other hand.

It happened when I was really young, so the skin has had time to stretch out so that I can actually straighten out my finger, but there's definitely some tightness there.

My mother left a curling iron where I could reach it when I was three. It was shiny, I grabbed it. The scar looks pretty bad, and feels very thick. I probably needed medical attention, but she didn't take me to the hospital because she though child services would investigate. It's a wonder it didn't get infected.

I have a scar on my left cheek. You probably can't see it in any of my pictures because I got it when I was 4 and it's faded over time. I can see it though... It makes me want to cry.

And I have stretch marks on my lower abdomen. Nothing too bad, considering how fat I got during the pregancy. The doctor says everntually they'll fade completely. I think he's lying.

I have 7 scars on my stomach from surgery's... i have one below my knee from some bump that had to be taken out....

i have a little one on my left leg. It was the last day of school i think my junior year and my french class had a french food day *twirls finger*. i brought cheese cause i'm lazy but i also brought a knife to cut it with. i got it from my teacher at the end of the day and she insisted that i put it in a plastic walmart bag. i took it back to my class and sat down, when i got up the bag swung around and the knife inside stabbed me in the leg about an inch deep. two stitches. the funny thing is the scar is from the stitches being left in too long not the actual cut. hrm.

i have a few on my legs from old bug bites and random scrapes and cuts (i heal really freakin slow and have the tendancy to run into shit ALOT. seriously, there can be a table half way across the room and somehow i'll end up bumping into it *shakes head*)

and i have i few stretchmarks on my hips from puberty, but they're fading. i had some on my boobs but they already faded

i have more than i can say...but the most memorable was cause by my first ever boyfriend who cut a 1 inch deep slash in my arm cos i started to walk away from him when i was pissed off. it severed the nerves in my arm....i never got stitches.


i learned the true nature off people that day.

Oh, I forgot to say how I got my scar. *duh* My aunt (who's not too much older than me) and I where "play wrestling" and she was "dead" on the floor. So, of course, I went up and punched her in her fat ass and as I ran away she tripped me and I fell into this antique chair my grandmother had with sharp wooden arms. I remember the whole thing, I started screaming, "I'm dying!! I'm DYING!!!". Nearly twenty years later she still swears she didn't trip me. Lying whore.
