Ok, another question. Who would beat who. Samurai(or ronin) vs. Ninja

What circumstances?

Well actually.. it would all depend on the skill of each warrior so you couldnt really say who would beat who. there are some samurai more skilled than others, same with a ninja

Well I ask circumstances because a majority of the time the ninja didn't know he was going up against a samurai, because the samurai looked like everyone else

Yeah, but only Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden 2 and up. That way you can actually climb walls, instead of just bouncing off of them.

Well, if you wanna get all technical on this shit, in a straight, fair fight, a Samurai would beat a Ninja any day. The Samurai wear armor. Back in the middle ages, the samurai were the "knights" as it were. Ninjas were more for reconniassance and stealth missions. So at night, in an alley, the Samurai would be fucked.

Actually not really, not unless they were riding into battle. Samurai were the elite palace guards. They had a tendancy to disguise themselves as common workers for the palace Lord. So an assassin didn't know if they were coming up on an everyday gardener or a samurai. Disguise and misdirection were the samurai's greatest weapons, that and a rather large pair of hedge trimmers usually
