I believe that I have been lax in posting since my last encouter with Harlotte, and so much has happened since then that I wonder why I even bother myself with such a trifle as updating.

Harlotte continues to sit next to me in english class, and though her mastery of our language is crude her mode of delivery is so silken that I cannot bring myself to find fault with it. Every day, we have to get into some kind of group activity (I think it is so Mrs. Farley can troddle on over to the ladies' room to change her Depends), and Harlotte questions me on our vocabulary so I can recite the correct definition without cracking poor Mr. Webster's spine. I gaze upon her creamy flesh so delicately wrapped with black lace, she feigns being disinterested in all the world around her, but something leads me to belived that she has something to be contrite about and is seeking someone to redeem her soul...

And at lunch time, she strolls by my corner of the gym, where I take my viands in solitude. She does not linger long, usually needing help with a math problem and is on her way. Before you accuse me of holding false hopes, I assure you that I do not. Harlotte and I are kindred spirits, for I should note that she has not developed a single acquaintance since arriving at Handley High School last week. The other girls in our class seem to eye her suspiciously, as well they should for her beauty infinitely exceeds theirs.

I watch her movements as I take my pre-class constitution after I eat. She mostly listens to her ipod under a tree sketching in her composition book. In helping her with her homework I have never had a chance to see any of her drawings, perhaps because she always comes to me with a blank sheet torn from this notebook. I swoon at the way she holds her Pilot Point No. 5 pen with red ink, always red ink.

I feel our relationship is off to a amicable start and I will be seeing much more of her once the virgin snow melts from her feminine heart, revealing the lofty summits I am to climb!
