I find that when I drink I still retain the ability to talk coherently and walk in a straight line (unless I'm extremely intoxicated).

I also find that I'm talkative and philosophical but not annoyingly or excessively so.

Yet I see some people who become complete fools after even one or two drinks.
They slur their words, stumble, become arrogant, obnoxious, or aggressive.
I know that most of it is probably psychosomatic but nonetheless,

Im an affectionate drunk.

Beers dont do anything to me,since I don't drink them to get drunk.But there have been a couple of times that I've went out and had mixed drinks,margeritas,and martini's.Now, I thought that beer was the shit that got you drunk,and mixed drinks/margeritas were the safe ones.Hah.So young.
When I arrived at lindy's, I was reserved,shy,did'int really join the conversation.When I got drunk,I started smiling,and laughing more.I was interacting more,and actually talked to girls that were there,including flirting with the waitress.I guess you could say I have a 'better time',but what kind of life would it be if i got plastered every night?

a happy drunk, i laugh, love, dance and generally have more fun, i don't know if it really has more to do with the environment and no children, than the actual intoxication, but i really let my hair down and become extremely honest....i don't get drunk alone, it's no fun, i just get a headache and go to bed...so maybe it is atmosphere?

Im a happy drunk too. I just go crazy....in a good way. I've been told i am a lot of fun to be with...I turn into a complete different person, I just do things you would NEVER think i would do. But i do get really really really horny and really like to act on that and i make sure i get what i want... So i guess i do get alil aggressive at times. But what i dont like is two drinks and im totally in la la land and no one else is yet. grrr. And i never really pass out real quick (everyone else is always out before me), no matter how much i drink....Unless i run into something and then u gota just leave me there.

Exactly. A lot of people who act like assjockeys when they're drunk think they're acting perfectly fine. Pull the cap off your ego and squeeze, bitch; it needs to be deflated a bit.

for me it depends on what i'm drinking. if i'm just drinking beer then i'm a pretty mellow drunk. i crack jokes, have a good time, flirt with girls and talk to randoms. if i start drinking tequila or captain, i'll usually end up talking shit to people and getting into a fight.

If I drink Captain, I flirt more, and pass out earlier.

I can say that because I ask other people who are around when I'm drinking what I'm like when I've had a few. All reports so far (from both people who have been drinking and teetotallers) indicate that I'm mellow and reserved.

but last time i got drunk and the times before it, i pretty much got amazingly depressed and if someone tried to touch me i choked them, couldn't look in the mirror and then sobbed until i passed out.
