i still have my very first car a 1976 dodge charger sport which i have had for 14 years... it is my baby... though she is in need of a major overhaul .... currnetly drving a 86 chevy cavalier...
had: a 85 pontiac something or other, an 86 dodge ramcharger, 78 dodge challenger, 86 dodge daytona, and a 87 jeep cherokee sport

bug shit is so cheap because of the way the car was designed...
as THE VOLKSWAGEN....
bug/beetle is just a sentimental name given to it which has sticked over time because of wat it looks like...
it is called VOLKSWAGEN - people's car...car for the people...cheap to run, cheap to repair, cheap to buy...CHEAP!
but still winning the hearts of millions. and of course this was influenced loads by those herbie movies.

You know what I find most intriguing? I was out shopping car insurance today, we need it to be allowed to drive. Wouldn't want uncle to take my shiny new... *cough* Lada. The insurance, just a plain simple thing, costs about three times more a year than the car is worth...

My cars aren't too great. I have a riced up 2001 Dodge Neon and a '95 Blazer. My dad has some kick ass cars though: A 98 Probe, a 74 Boss Mustang, a Mach 1 Mustang, a 2003 Z06 Corvette (electric blue), and 90 or 91 RX7 just to name a few. He also has miss. other toys like jetski's, a boat, fourwheelers, motorcycles, ect.. He doesn't share though...... But, I'm claiming the Boss when he's too old to drive it anymore. Bawhaahaahaaaaaaaa......
