Well i've been to a couple states and i've seen some different stores, here in florida we have kash n karry, publix, and winn-dixie as far as I know, drug stores we have are walgreens, and CVS, and gas stations, 7-11, BP, Sunoco, Racetrak, and shell.

groceries: Pick N Save, IGA, Piggly Wiggly, Jewel Osco, Sentry, Kohls there are a few more but I can't remember them
Pharmacy: walgreens, osco drug, drug emporium
Gas: Shell, Citgo, BP, Mobil, Stop N Go, Speedway, Sinclair (few and far between) Kwik Trip (also few and far between)

Tesco's and Asda's have pretty much cornered the Supamarket chain thing here in te UK. Tesco is the countrys biggest employer after the goverment.

You can get pretty much everything in those stores and Tesco's are also ruling the roost when it comes to petrol/gasoline stations. They are very cheap compared to the rest.

Now it's different in the cities, cause I know in Richmond there's this huge food chain thing called Ukrops. But in the relatively small town I'm from we have:

Grocery: Kroger, Food Lion, and I think there are still an IGA and Harris Teeter around. And there is always WalMart

Gas: BP, Exxon, Sheetz, 7-11, with a few small local gas stations.

Pharm.: CVS, Rite-Aid, local pharmacy (Stuarts Draft Pharmacy), Walmart again, and there is a Walgreens here in Christiansburg.

Is richmond in south virginia? I stopped there at the bus stop but I dont remember. I've been to arlington on my way up north, I couldn't see the cemetary but I did get to see the big ass river all iced over and shit, that was cool. And the statue is out by the road thats cool.
