This is a simple thread.. if you're like me, which some of you should be, and have a disease, then post about it. Notice I said disease, NOT SICKNESS.

My disease is Von Williams Bran, or something close to that spelling, wherein my blood has difficulty clotting when it should, of course, clot. I have the lowest version of this, so I am in the least amount of danger, but that didn't stop me from not being in any sports (except baseball, oddly enough, wherein I almost got nailed in the head multiple times). I'm not the only one to get this, either, since 6 other people had this, 3 of which had the same level as me.

I got ADHD heheh if that counts.

i get migraines. the really horribly disabling kind. luckily i have them under control mostly, 'cept for the occaisonal "Break through" (...they make it sound like you're discovering a new medical rule rather than huddling in a bed hoping for a quick death)

Huh... apocalypsechild, who used to come here and pointed out darkness to me way back when, used to get migraines, and he had some experimental medicine or shit he had to take.

my therapy's not experimental, but its still being researched. in other words its been released for doctors to perscribe but they still ask me a million questions about how its working every time i go in for a checkup. thumbs up for it if it keeps my head out of the toilet though.

i think everyone else's are a bit too embarrasing, i mean, who would want to post that they have anal warts?

lol I don't think a lot of people know what ADHD is... It's rather annoying and people mistake me for being mentaly insane sometimes and slow. All it is that I have a very short temper.. short attention span and am REALLY hyper when not on medcation.

Them wart things might be a sickness, wherein you develop it and it goes away.

What we have, however, tends to stick with you for a long long time.

Mine isn't a real problem, anymore. The migraines, however, and the ADHD, sound far more tiresome to have.

it is..... alot of people have ADHA or it's other form ADD and don't even know it so it is not umcommon

It is also overly believed that someone has ADD, when in fact they just had poor parenting.

as far as i know a lot of STD's tend to not go away.


i've known quite a few people in my day with ADD and ADHD. i actually dated a guy with ADHD. i can honestly say he never grew up and never will...

bah, i never liked "acting my age", i think people take everything too seriously when they try to grow up too fast

I supposedly take stuff too seriously... might explain my random explosions and whatnot... but in the end I don't really understand the "Act your age" thing.. anywho we're digressing from the theme of this.
