Yeah i just wnat to know. What did you all do when you were little. Having trouble going to sleep? If so do you still do the same thing?
When i was a kid afraid to go to sleep. All i would do is rap my self up in a blankit and lay very still the dark. Then there was another thing that i was concerned about. It was my heart beat. Cause you know if a fucking monster or what ever were to jump at you. Not being able to find you in the dark. All they would have to do is hear your heart beat. So i would lay there like oh FUCK!!
Then i would be holding my breath. Cheating a little bit on my breaths. I still carry the laying under my blankit and not moving thing. But the monsters and holding my breath shit. I don't do. Then if i really can't sleep. I come on here.
So what did you all do? If so do you still carry a little bit of this trait
(to make me feel better about my self) So i know i'm not the only one.

I donno, I never had much of a problem. I always fell asleep to black sabbath and stuff, and thne as I got older (7 or so, after my bro went out to california and Egypt) Rage Agaisnt the Machine and some Israeli hardcore band. Getting to sleep was never the problem, I had night terrors till I was like 8 where I'd get up and run around the house asleep screaming my head off and eventually throwing up. I don't remember any of it but Mom and Dad do and it sounds like it wasn't alot of fun.

If I can't get to sleep then I just pull a pillow over my head or stroke my cat who always lies on my chest when I go to bed. I never had a cat(tame) as a kid so I don't know where this came from.

I don't think I had much trouble with that. I assume I'd go jump into my parents bedroom.

But then again, me and my little sister shared a room, so we would probably be scared together. I don't remember climbing into her bed, but it could have happened. More than likely, she would have climbed into mine.

Nowdays, I just laugh at myself and freak out some more until forget what it is I'm scared of.

..can't stand lights or noises when I wanna sleep nowadays..

me either...and i have to sleep on the couch...so im usually hold some time of stuffed animal over my head

It sounds dumb, but I'd put my blankets over my head and think about cartoons. Worked every single time.

yeah some night we all have scared nights at times. while know i could go on the computer, listen to music, or watch tv.
i used to have a stuffed animal. but then i got to big for it. wanted to get rid of it.

When I was lil I always had to make sure the closet door was closed completely, and my bed was a platform bed so I didn't have to worry about anything coming out from under it ... but I did have this phobia of someone coming in and cutting off my limbs while I was sleepin, it came from this movie my dad let me watch, about some dude sneakin into this chics room and cutting off her arms and stuff, so I coun't never sleep unless I was completely covered and the door was locked... but I'm all over that now... once I lay down I'm gone for the night

yeah i kinda did the same hting i basically mad emy blankets into like a sleeping bag so my feet werent open to anything........ i still do it

i hated the door closed when i was little. i wanted it open so that my parents could hear me if anything did happen and so i could easily run out. we never had locks on our doors and even if we had, we never locked them. i suppose it was safer that way. i've only started locking the bathroom in this new house.

we learned to knock pretty early.

I used to have trouble when I was smaller. I'd lie quietly, barely breathing and stare at the shadows so I'd know if they tried anything. Later, I used to go to sleep with a light on.

Yep...me too...I would just wrap up and "pretend" that I was sleeping. So I told my 2 year old that the monsters will come and get her if she doesn't lay very still and be very quiet..."pretend your sleeping honey". I was wanting for it to get her to lay still and quiet and fall asleep easily you know but of course it backfired on me because...well because it was evil so now...she has NO fear of monsters. She says..."Moma, I want to SEE the Zombie...where is it?" She wants to PLAY with the monsters and shit...go figure! So she jumps up and down on her bed yelling, "Come on Zomies let's plaaaaaay for I go night night."
