try taking the magnet away from your monitor.

Oddly enough, if you have your speakers right next to the monitor, that could do it. Check your video cables, too.

If all else fails, drink lots of orange juice and watch traffic drive by.

Solution: turn on your monitor

Yeah, soon after making that post I moved the small fan away from my monitor.
That was freaking me out at first because it was so subtle I wasn't sure if it was the computer screen or me.

mine doesn't do anything interesting. suck for me.

you realise that moving the thing away will make it stop doing that, but it is still permantely fucked. my screen arcs at the side a little, because i had to put my sub on the desk next to the screen. now i've moved my whole pc, its okay. but its still permanenty fucked. u can fix, but costs shiteloads. more than a new monitor.

if you degauss you monitor it won't do that anymore.

if you have it under constant magnetic pressure for too long, even a degauss will not cure it.
