if you came across a website offering nothing, just asking for spare change or a dollar for some small cause... would you send the person money?

i think it would work if the link was sent to a certain group of people.. what do you think?

I remember hearing something like this from a news article on a talk-radio show. Some woman set up a website and asked people to send her money. She was honest. She said it was to help with her car payment, buy new clothes, etc. She made thousands of dollars in small amounts that people sent her.
