If a person were to be in a hospital. Yet these doctors could make a new invention on "viewing a persons dream on screen." Do you think that is possible, I mean if you had the right equipment and such?

no i do not.....for one reason and one reason alone......according to psychologist and biologists, and philosophers (oh yeah!), the mind is not an actual "physical" place but rather an interesting array of impulses and "eletrical-brain-activity".....yet the peculiarity is how all this can form itself into "sense-like" yaddah, yaddah, yaddah....they main thing is, is that your dreams, imagination, and memories not only involve this ? but also involes the physical characteristics of your body....for example, fear for a nightmare, joy for a happy memory, the way your brain is, the electrical impulses, heart rate, etc, etc.........in other words, dreams are really for you and you alone.........we can know you have a nightmare, but not the exact details of the dream..........

also, i once heard that dreams result in the chemistry of the brain, and that while dreaming, a whirl of like chemicals or sumtin, i dunno, have some effect on the imagery in your dream

but uh.....i dunno......i, being a person who does not believe the mind (dreaming too) is NOT phsyical, thinks no....

Well that is true. But yet I don't know if people can actually DO this kind of thing. Once when dreams are involved. But I think that would be interesting to be able to watch your own dream on screen, after these doctors have put you to sleep, and was able to record this for you on screen. I'm saprized that none of these doctors could think of an invention like this on what i'm thinking about, while wondering if they could actually make it work................. But once when it comes to the human mind its self, I think that is a little hard to fuck around with.

With the technology we have today, i certainly think this is a possibility. I am sure many Dr.s /Engineers/Scientists probably are working on creating an invention like this. Also, i am sure if the did already have one, they would keep in a secret from the majority..... at least for now. I personally would think it is pretty cool to beable to record my dreams so i can watch them back later .... who knows, maybe in 100 yrs. we could just plug ourselves into our PCs before we sleep and record all our dreams to our HDDs

Oh that would be interesting once when that happens. Cause most people do tend to forget what the hell they were dreaming about, or they sit here and think they don't dream about anything at all. But in a 100 years like you said, and once when we are able to plug overselves into our PCs before we go to sleep and start recording all of our dreams. Then these people would be able to tell that they can actually have dreams. Since they sit here AND think they don't dream about anything..... Once when you record and be able to watch it on video. It would be like making your own god dam movies, and your like the main character in it.................. Weather its a happy dream, night mare dream, action dream, OR adventure dream. I think that would seriously be cool.................... I'm glad I made this post by the way and what I was thinking about, once when it comes to dreams that is. Maybe I shouldn't think so much. Now I got a headach from this. But you are right anything is possible with the kind of technology we have today. We just need to have the right people in it, for this kind of invention and the right equipment for this. In order to make it work.

A device like you mention was used in the movie THE FORTRESS with Christopher Lambre...they used ppl's dreams and nightmares for entertainment ..

Heres the kicker!! Self used to be an awsome precog. however since selfs late teens self only seems to remember maybe 1 out of 70 dreams and falls into that im not shure im dreaming anymore class .

So self's point is a natural defence of the mind is repressed memorys .is that defence blocking self from seeing too much ?
