I was previously on a waiting list to leave for Basic Training in May, I was just waiting for a few dumbass kids to fail their drug tests. Unfortunately, enough of them passed that I did not get to leave early, so I am leaving at my originally scheduled time of August 7th. From there I'll be going to Basic Training in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, and from there I'll be going to Montery, California, to study at the DLI and learn Arabic for 63 weeks. After that, I will be getting married and stationed somewhere, and with my luck, I'll be stationed somewhere incredibly annoying, uncomfortable, and somewhere where I won't be able to bring my car.

I've just been spending some time with the girlfriend lately, and then I've been too busy to do much at darkforum lately. Of course during basic I'll be gone, but when I'm in California after a few weeks I'll be able to get onto the internet, and then I'll be back. Damnit, I have a lot of work to do before then, I need to get my postcount higher.

I'm going to one next month. I just repainted my car white, and it's nice and clean and smooth looking, and I love it. I'll ahve to auto X on street tires though, as my slicks are dead.

i'm on avs's since i couldn't spring for r compounds. so far this season has sucked. finally worked out the car kinks only to have it rain on my heat this last event. the 29th event is supposed to by pretty big and fast down at ft.knox. if you have any pics of the car send them to me or something. sounds like its pretty slick.

I'm going to post them soon, once I get them developed. It really looks nice now, plain bright white, stock GT front, 18 inch rims, and I mad a small spoiler from fiberglass, just a little lip on the back hatch, and it looks really nice. I can't wait until the paint hardens a bit more so I can start driving it again.

i'm debating how to take the gay pinstriping off mine successfully. for some reason only the 90's models had it. i'm hoping googone will cut it. i also finally got my catback in from corksport. i had put on a precat delete pipe and gutted the cat and then nothing. the damn y-pipe rusted apart and the catbacks were on a month backorder. needless to say an unmuffled rotary is loud as fuck. i had to bend the exhaust shielding as a turn down to keep from catching the bottom of the car on fire when it would shoot flames.

Damn. I just bought another muffler to add to the existing exhaust on my car, because it is way too damn loud. Right now I'm running a header, testpipe, and exhaust with a muffler about 10 inches long, and it sounds a little short of a straight pipe. So I'm replacing my testpipe with a moroso spiralflow, that should help. Also, I just bought a short shifter, and I'll be installing that at the same time. Can't wait to get it all in. Tonight when I get home from work I'll be ordering (hopefully) an MSD ignition and coil, and some plug wires. As far as the pinstriping, my first car had it and I was able to remove it with a razor blade, working very carefully, but I don't know if it will work for your car.

i tried the razorblade on my old 91 camry and wasn't real succesfull. it left a residue and i ended up chipping the paint in a few spots.

Thanks a lot goddess! I went promise ring shopping today with a friend. Fortunately, my mother is very good friends with a gentleman that owns a large chain of jewelry stores around here, so he gets me good prices and he'll custom make me stuff and whatnot. The good prices is a good thing, considering I'm buying Melissa only platinum, which costs way too damn much.
