I'm moving to England at the end of the year. I don't see any reason to leave once I'm there. I've wanted to live there since I was a little girl. Plus, I won't have to drive anymore.

I just moved back home from living in California for two years. I'm content to work and save up some money while paying low rent and eventually go back to school. Hopefully I'll have lots of study abroad options while in school, but after living in a place I hated for two years, I look forward to ending up anywhere that I feel comfortable. Be that my hometown or the middle of Siberia, as long as I'm not miserable.

I refuse to believe the myth that there is anywhere actually interesting enough for me to go to.
It's the same old stuff worldwide. Annoying people. Boring landmarks. Miles of wanky pretension spanning the globe.
I've seen many of my friends go overseas, only to discover they're now in a worse position than before. All for saying "ohh lookit me, I live in (insert pretentious location here)"

The only thing I could think would make me move somewhere is weather related. I hate Australian summers. You know it's hot when the road starts melting.

i'd still live at the beach in california. rent sucks, traffic sucks, plenty of things suck that are associated with it, but it feels too much like home. there definitely isn't any other place in the US that i'd move to.

if all goes well i'll be in australia at the end of november. who knows, i may just like it so much that i stay there.
