so i have this theory, i will now attept to explain it due to the fact that i bet it makes a lot more sense in my head.
i have a theory.....
i believe that ppl do not have freewill, per-se......that all of our choices, actions, and decisions are influenced....by our parents and surroundings....that our thought process is shaped and molded by our upbringing, but also by our emotional state of mind....
when we go to make a decision, in a rational state of mine, what sdo we usually consider? if we are in a state of anger we do not consider much, just the act of getting what it is that we feel we need to get accomplished, but if the same situation arises while wallowing in distress or any negative emotion, we tend to feel weakened and unable to bring the courage to accomplish said needed action..
****ok so my thoughts are complete in my head but are getting scrambled as i am trying to type them out.......
i feel that people use religion as a large support group. if you grow up religious, and do not rebel, what do you do when something in your life fails.... you turn to this higher power that is said to have influence and control over things......religion teh way i see it is like AA......a large support group, where if, we take the catholic religion, with almost 2billion members, you have a massive amount of ppl, all working together for the same cause, for the same idea, with a single cause that makes them feel closer......
****i will return to this after i sleep on it****

and the same thingy problem too, (that's why I did a little mess on the phylopshy forum... uups I shouldn't have said that)
anywhay let me try to explain what I can from what it is in my head also:
Let's call the Detherminstic theory... (goody now it has a name) and it goes like this:
We often think that you are in control of your life...
Well I kinda doubt that...
What you tend to do?
You do not tend to do what you want - as it is usually said.
You tend to do what your mind says.
What your mind says that it is right, it is the best choice, by it's emotions etc...
And how does your mind says what to do?
By seeing things in the surrounding world, percieiving them in a subjective way influenced by emotions, natural instincts, conections with other things...etc
The ideea is that that you don not percieve exactly how things are.
Two men can percieve the same thing differently depending on their previous knowledge about that thing, their expectation about that thing, their desires related to that things, their conections with that thing...etc
Anywhay your notion about this object is stored in your mind under the form of let's calll it "mental state" which includes all this things.
And when your do take a decison, or think a thought is based on these mental states, and let's say also the emotions that you feel at the moment...
So let's make a short resume:
Your mind takes your decisions.
The mind takes the decisions based on your mental states.
The mental states are the direct result of what you have sought and the mechanisms of the mind of interpreting it.
So where's this "you" thing that takes decisions?
This theory has also some interesting implications... : )
And about the religon you are right that the religion is based on support feeling, I have a similar view around here.
We'll discuss that later, we have our hands full now with this detherminstic theory.
Hmmm... I see that we have similar ideeas... are we telepathically linked or something?
-or maybe the world is the way we intuit it .
(P.S. we should go the pshyolopshy forum repsective religon, but that a litte later until we got our notion in our head right and can express them in a good word form.... damn I hate words for this... I would like telepathy
fell, fuck and fight depression.
why shouldn't life be stranger than fiction? after all, fiction has to make sense.
Man O Man, is this a fun one... covers several forums at once!!
