i'm at work so my connection speed is pretty fast. sometimes i just find myself waiting for the reply button to show up.

I got high speed and I've not had that problem.

why does it only let you quick reply by hitting a button? surely it is quicker if it lets you type in the thingy at the bottom of the screen without having to hit a button first?

what if you want to power quote like this?

then you click the reply with quote button. that's easy. but the point of a 'quick' reply button is that it's meant to be quick.

i.e. time-saving, not as lengthy, of limited time dimension, without lengthiness, not taking a long time, short, sharp, FAST.

this little reply box at the bottom of the screen reeeeeeeeeeeeeally needs fixing. you have to scroll up to click on a button and then go down again. it makes me want to commit heinous and extreme acts of violence every time i'm made to do it. and i've only been here eight minutes. it's pointless. there is no point. it is blunt. without angles. currently adhering to six hundred and one child safety standards for non-pointiness. 180 degrees. circular. apexless. you see what i'm getting at?

now having a little box that you could type in without having to open it every single ******* time, that would be very pointy. acute. sharp. capable of having someone's eye out. a lethal instrument of such finely honed pointiness that its pointing and poking capabilities would end several inches beyond its visible edge. you see.

what is cool though is that you can preview your signature. the 500 character limit sucks but i have projectile vegetable missibles and blackmail techniques involving trifle that will take care of that. it's cool being able to click on some of the fun smilies without having to open the whole window every time though. (i figured one compliment per moan should about even things up).
