I was watching this documentary on Samurai's and it said that Ninja's were basically disgraced Samurai's who turned from their protective dutie's to work for the government as spys. SCUM in other words!! They pretty much contributed to the wiping out of Samurai's.......just a lil tid bit of knowledge.
