There's 9 of them just in Charlotte. That I know of anyway. It's pretty feasible that there's 20,000 Taco Bell's. Especially since they have them in gas stations now.

Eh...Taco Bell is ok if you're strapped for cash, but we've got better fast-food Mex places here...like Senor Froggy's and Taco John's. Hell, even Taco-Time has better food than Taco Hell these days.
